hello weird young pervert who is involved in radqueer/paraphilia community discourse and isolating yourself from the rest of the world because you feel like you're a singular kind of freak. i'm here to say you can just have kinks. you don't have to torture yourself over which label to pick or who to side with. you think its bad when people are hurt and abused for real? that can be your stance, then, and that can be where you draw the line, and that's all you gotta worry about. there are so many people out there who have the same feelings that you do and they are just expressing themselves through consensual kink or rp or fanfic or whatever. you are not alone, you are not shameful, you do not have to apply a dsm-5 label to yourself because you get horny about something weird. society is very anti-kink, yes, but even mainstream porn shows that these "fetishes" are incredibly common. a lot of people even want these things irl but still just do kink because they have a moral backbone and that's fine. you don't have to surround yourself with folks who claim to be the only ones capable of understanding you. i don't wanna sound too preachy and ultimately you can do what you want. but please consider why you feel like you have to label yourself with these constantly shifting terms based on judgmental psychiatric diagnoses, why you stay in communities where you're constantly having to block people who will admit to being pro-contact toward minors or animals or whatever, when instead you could be having fun safely by engaging in consensual kink (or by reading fic or whatever until you're an adult who can safely navigate these spaces). just think about it please
