They really did hit gold with the OG 911, didn't they? They got some great and silly and heart wrenching stories, they wrote some incredibly engaging characters and then they've got an incredible cast who all seem to love each other. They got freaking Angela Bassett spearheading the show. They were cancelled by stinky Fox but immediately got picked up by ABC and somehow got bigger and better. They can make near-perfect episodes in their eighth season. This show is a treat and the fact that network television like this exists today is something I'm so thankful for.

hold up, we never saw eddie’s house this episode. every moment with buck, eddie, and chris (any combo of the three) was station, poker, calls, and BUCKS APARTMENT!!! like even making cookies for chris to bring to school, doing homework, and dinner all in bucks home.

I would like to add onto this and say that we’ve never really seen bucks apartment feel like a home, it’s always Eddie’s place that Buck seems the most home at yet we are now starting to see that even bucks loft can feel like a home with the right people (*ahem* Eddie and Chris) in it.

It’s my birthday and I’m so fucking depressed I barely want to be here anymore and the one thing I thought I would get on my birthday would be an episode of 9-1-1 but nope it’s still on hiatus and I’m just so fucking depressed right now

God these documentary episodes of the rookie are so fucking boring and the filming and structure of the episodes are so choppy and chaotic. I wish they would stop these documentary eps 😩

Okay but Buck said he always checks the time when he wakes up because it’s never night in his coma dream, but it is nighttime when he wakes up on Eddie’s couch but he doesn’t need to check the time because Eddie wasn’t in the coma dream so as long as he’s with Eddie he knows he’s alright PLEASE IM FUCKING FERAL OVER THAT

This is why Eddie wasn’t allowed in the coma dream and I will be taking no other explanation thank you

I know it’s probably not Buck because the name on the jacket is really short and everyone thinks it’s Bobby anyway, but the person sliding down on the side of their face just makes me think so much of that BTS photo with Oliver/Buck having blood on the side of his face. If it’s not from this then I really need to know what it’s from lol

I feel like 6x11 was centered a lot about the concept of blood/chosen family (as in chosen parents, siblings and kids) which is maybe why they didn’t touch Eddie, because Buck doesn’t see him as a brother but as a potential partn-
