Okay I need some clarification here. Everyone is saying that Buck has an addiction, but were those meds not prescribed? I know the scene felt like he was ashamed of something but I just assumed it was because he was really struggling and those were anxiety/anti depressant meds, mayyyybe sedatives, but that still doesn’t necessarily mean addiction. Did I interpret that all wrong?

I don’t agree with this “Eddie doesn’t have a key” narrative because why are we jumping to that conclusion? What sane person would let themselves and their child into their friends home without permission for no good reason? I don’t care how good of friends you are that would not have been the logical decision unless he actually had a good reason to believe Buck was in harms way.
