I tried to keep it as realistic as possible. I will die happily if even one-third of these boxes get crossed off!

“They’re adorable together,” she said, nodding toward Buck and Christopher. “You’re so lucky to have found someone like him.” Eddie almost choked on his drink. “Oh, no, Buck’s just—” “Amazing? Supportive? Great with kids?” she interrupted, ticking off each trait on her fingers. “I know. Es tan obvio", she sighed dreamily. Eddie opened his mouth to argue, but the words didn’t come. He stared at Buck, who had just scooped Christopher up to twirl him around, both of them laughing. Adriana’s words hung in the air, uncomfortably heavy but very, very true. “Why are all the hot ones gay?” she pouted.  Eddie raised an eyebrow at her, not even bothering to correct her about Buck not being gay because that would mean admitting that Buck was hot. “I’m talking about TK,” she sighed. “Carlos’ boyfriend? I heard you met them when you came to Austin last time. Too bad I was on a work trip.” “Wait, did you have a crush on TK?” Eddie laughed.
