Ok so, like, being in love and being married for basically forever at this point (it’s gonna be 17??? Years?????? ???? How) is lovely and wonderful because my spouse is my best friend and we’ve known each other since we were literal children and I could go on and on forever and maybe someday I will.
But.
This is a post about how I have confirmed (not that I ever have doubt) that we belong together, and that is because we’ve been playing The Talos Principle together and oh my god if there is one way to determine this it’s playing intense puzzle games. Talos is not a multiplayer game; you wander around structures connecting what are essentially circuits with beams of light to unlock even more puzzles. It’s great.
Anyway, our version of this is one of us drives and we both yell directions and/or finish each others’ ideas on solutions one statement after the other and only rarely have we come to a heated disagreement so it’s also an excellent communication exercise.
Basically, get you somebody you can yell about tetrominos and philosophy with and cheer when you get the answer and life will be an endless sleepover.
