When you regained consciousness the comforting scent was gone, replaced by an overpowering sterile smell and the constant sound of running electricity. The lighting was dim, but still enough to burn your eyes anytime you tried to open them, and your arms were strapped down so that you were unable to do much more than wiggle. You groaned in pain, your head pounded as you tried to gather your bearings and figure out what exactly happened to you, a car crash? No, but you were in a car- Mark’s car- was Mark okay? Were you in a hospital? Why were you strapped down? No you were attacked. Your thoughts came more rapidly as you became more aware of your surroundings, the four walls of the room were a dull green tile, the ground solid concrete, the only things in the room were the cot you were strapped to and a one way mirror on the wall your feet pointed to.
