We’ve seen couples like Char and Ereba. We’ve seen ancient Asari, like Benezia, and dirt old Krogan, like Drack. And Aethyta is proof that Krogan and Asari were gettin cozy for years long past. I’ve been thinking it would be awesome to see an Asari Matriarch and a Krogan who have been bondmates for hundreds of years. Each typical examples of their race, but shaped through a thousand years of mutual experiences.

I imagine the Matriarch would be pretty irregular compared to most Asari her age (if not to the level Aethyta took it), more practical and no-nonsense, although still quite sage. The Krogan would probably be mostly typical go-get-em and beat-em-up, just more directed and controlled, and might end up more of a strong silent type than usual, as well. And they probably travel around the galaxy solving crimes or something funny like that.

I’m a foster mother to 100 baby spiders

Okay so the other day I was taking the trash out and my nail caught on a spider egg sac!

Unfortunately it split open and all the little eggs came tumbling out and luckily landed in a box.

After getting them all in a glass, I was left with several questions, no answers and guilt! But I asked in a few spider groups and got a tutorial on making a spider incubator!

Sooo! We went through a few different stages of mini Orbeez

And by mini I mean REALLY mini!

But finally we started seeing development!

See the little white dot?! That’s a wee lil baby!

Then more started showing up!

Then the day came!! Little legs started showing up!!

And then!!!

Today I just went to look and!!

!!!

MY BABIES ARE HATCHING!

And that’s the most frustrating thing about depression. It isn’t always something you can fight back against with hope. It isn’t even something — it’s nothing. And you can’t combat nothing. You can’t fill it up. You can’t cover it. It’s just there, pulling the meaning out of everything. That being the case, all the hopeful, proactive solutions start to sound completely insane in contrast to the scope of the problem.
