Since I'm making controversial jax posts I'm gonna keep this ball rolling:

Jax is a layered and complex character but he is not at all hard to read (this is not a short coming on the writing, on the contrary, it's a big strength imo). Though there's still a lot of mystery around his exact relationships and motivations he's consistently characterized in a way that, I think, paints a pretty clear picture of who he is, and The fact he's being so widely mischaracterized and misinterpreted is genuinely really confusing to me

Coming hot off the heels of episode 8; I stand by this statement. But I do feel like the absolutely crazy jax takes have mellowed out.

That being said; I have seen a, frankly insane, amount of people take the "this is real" line as jax truly thinking everyone else in the circus were NPCs and I really think you guys could have paid more attention in English class
