I don't want to be here, but there was a really good SPG fic I had to finish so I guess I'm stuck here forever.
yes, I'm caught up to one piece
I love howls moving castle, steam powered giraffe, QUADECA, ATLA, link click, a wee bit of an odd taxi and TBHX fan, ARCANE, discworld,
Good omens, ALL THINGS TERRY PRATCHETT,! psych,I adore witch hat atelier! The locked tomb, I NEED ALECTO!! Did I say farseer trilogy already? Wingfeather, RIORDANVERSE. yes even t39c unfortunately, kids on the slope, BEBOP, MisTbOrN(era1+2)! hadestown, hooky made me cry so I guess I'm a fan now. Martian Manhunter, spiderverce, Disco Elysium my love! But oh look over there, it’s BOTW begging to be played, but I can’t because I swear I’d finish hades first. I also must finish experiencing the TMA horrors. if I didn’t have work, I’d be the best hollow knight player on the planet, trust.
it made sense to me when I was 10, don’t ask me why I’m continuing to withhold information from my best friend well into my twenties. It was their idea and the only solution we could think of back then, why ever would we risk finding a different solution
Thinking about Night Watch again and I just realised Vimes as John Keel from Ned's perspective is basically the Not-Them from TMA. Bro was probably at least a bit terrified
What the heck is UP with Terry Pratchett? Getting into Discworld while only knowing Good Omens is just another type of experience, I'm telling yall.
I'm like 1/3rd of the way through Going Postal and "finding the lady" has already been mentioned twice, hella lot of angel references, Moist believing that everything would always somehow turn out okay (a.k.a. that the universe would take care of him) and of course could not forget about the footnotes, which are also always their own plot (very much like him). I love it
It's been said before, but I love how every Discworld character is a hero of their own story and a roadblock/antagonist/annoying twit in everyone elses. William de Worde is a great example (he's a bit soggy even in his own story but so are most Disc protags): he's fighting for truth and justice, dismantling evil political plots... and in the Moist and Vimes books he is the most annoying man alive. Vimes is a very strange man when you're not in his head. Granny Weatherwax can be inscrutable and overbearing when you're not in hers. Etc. Etc. Etc.

"Sam Vimes did not live in the same world as Moist von Lipwig. Did the man ever laugh? he wondered-the commander must have done something funny at some time. Probably he'd laughed at somebody falling over a cliff or suchlike."
Imaginary convo between Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, circa 2000
NG: it's incredible how many copies of GO we have sold.
TP: it's incredible how many ppl love this book.
NG: think we should do a sequel? We could do another another Armageddon thingie? We did have Crowley saying: "Ready for the big one? .. for my money, the really big one will be all of Us against all of them?" You and I could be set for life, financially, based on what we are seeing in terms of book sales now.
TP: Nah, they already went with the humans against Armageddon. Why repeat it? That would be boring. I can see them in the South Downs, in a cottage. Crowley yelling at his plants in his garden, Aziraphale opening a small bookshop in town. Using infrequent miracles when they have to, but living like humans and watching the stars at night. That's it for me.
Suddenly got hit with the concept plus a very detailed visual of Moist von Lipwig donning his famous Postmaster General suit via magical girl transformation. And now I am supposed to go about my day? As if I hadn't just experienced what I can only describe as a divine vision??
Ugh. I’m a snob at heart. Don’t get me wrong, I’m really happy the anime is FINALLY out, I have waited for so long! But I am sticking with the sub BECAUSE THESE DAMN VOICES ARE KILLING ME. (Honestly I have more of an issue with the character designs rather than the VAs, i feel like better choices could have been made, but that’s another can of worms (looking at you Utowin) I don’t have much to say about Olly’s dub in particular, seeing as he hasn’t had too much dialogue. I would say it’s fine, but i have defiantly heard better. BUT I LOVE THE ANIME SO MUCH! I REALLY HOPE THEY CAN GET ANOTHER SEASON!
