AHH!! It's done!!

I've read the book series (all of the Riordan-verse) 5 billion times and I'm thinking maybe these are the Earthborn (even tho they're not in this book)?? Or maybe a weird take on the sirens?? Just curious what everyone thinks. I read that it was protectors of the fleece on Polyphemus's island, but I'd still love to see the innocent, adorable, man-eating sheep. LOL All-in-all I'm just happy to see PJ on TV, even when it doesn't stay 100% book accurate. As long as it follows the overall plot of the series, maintaining it's heart, then I'm good with whatever (within reason of course). Including throwing monsters from future books in early, that's cool. How can you be mad at this face?! Talk about trouble

I don't always enjoy the changes Rick makes to the series, but Sally taking in Tyson is one that I love. It was always a little weird how she just accepted him being homeless and simply asked Percy to be his friend, her giving Tyson a place to stay and reassuring him and standing firm on 'not everything that seems like a monster is one' is way better.

Drawing #28, December 10th, Momo's Special Moment with Okarun

I was having a hell of a day when I attempted this. I knew I wanted to draw Momo, but I wasn't quite sure exactly in what capacity. This moment is so incredible that I felt like drawing her in any other moment was...not doing her as much justice as I did for Okarun? But could I manage the same moment in such a powerful way?

The moment I flipped this canvas and started swapping these two teenagers' places, I was like "oh man, what have I gotten myself into?"

But mannnnn, am I happy that I pushed through how tricky this was and came out the other side. Because I love how this came out.

This is a sister piece to the Okarun drawing a did two weeks back that people really seemed to love! <3 (Thank you so much for everyone who provided such kind words about it!)

I really like how they compliment each other. Okarun's shock and embarrassment, Momo's bashfulness...it's the best. I hope you all enjoy this as much as I did making it!

Drawing #17, November 26th, Okarun’s Special Moment with Momo

This was when things took a sharp swerve from "this could be a fun sticker" to "oops I made a whole-ass drawing" territory.

I'd been riding the momentum and started feeling ambitious. Originally, I had only intended to draw their hands and add some text. But. Then I decided to draw Okarun's arm...and I thought the angle was neat...so I drew all of Okarun...and then I thought the scene was neat...so I drew the car...and then I thought I could give it the same coloring as the moment in the show...and then the lightning and shading lol. Now, I have this. It's a piece I'm really proud of and has really jumpstarted me drawing some of the coolest stuff I've drawn in years.
