why do people love to push stereotypes onto same sex couples? Why must there always be a “This character is the wife because they are a bottom!” or “this character is the husband because they are so strong!!”

I’m asking this due to the amount of people in the MDZS fandom ALWAYS saying Wei Wuxian is the wife because he is “dainty and a bottom” and it really infuriates me due to the amount of ‘What a wife should be like’ stereotypes introduced into it.

I love the idea of soulmates but I also despise it. Scenerio, you have a lover who has a platonic soulmate, would that NOT hurt? Knowing that there’s someone out there who just fits your partner better even if its non-romantically? You could just call it off as you being insecure, and someone could give alot of reasons why it “doesn’t” matter to your lover but the fear of being replaced still would’ve existed. But we all have different ideas about soulmates so i guess it really just depends on what you think.

Im always happy I wasn’t active in the TGCF fandom back then because the HATE Mu Qing used to receive back then… I love Mu Qing so much and whenever i scroll past hate for him its usually always before 2023. I wouldve absolutely hated to be a Mu Qing stan back then, even while i was reading the books i loved him…

whenever I listen to “Too little, Too Late” by laufey theres a specific line that makes me think about Beefleaf (Shi Qingxuan X He Xuan)

Basically the line is “I should've chased you, I should be who you're engaged to” (My personal favorite part of the song)

Imagine a modern world where Shi Qingxuan met He Xuan while Miao-er was still alive, the angst, the agony, the DESPAIR. Shi Qingxuan is inlove with He Xuan but he won’t do anything about it because He Xuan is deeply inlove and engaged to Miao-er. (BTW Miao-er is He Xuans Fiance)

Sorry I just really enjoy Angst. But I also enjoy happy endings, and I dont know if I can see a happy ending in that story unless Miao-er dies. I really hate to have to completely erase or forget about the existence of Miao-er because she is ultimately a very important part of He Xuans life alongside his family. Ugh! Just thinking about beefleaf and He Xuans Family gets me sad. He Xuan could also fall inlove with Shi Qingxuan while being engaged but I do not think I see He Xuan as the cheating type, especially not to his fiance.

i really do not understand why people have a thing against MXTX tops bottoming… It really isn’t that big of a deal. Like, Imagine if Xie lian ever wanted to top, you really think Hua Cheng would reject him? Or if Shen Qingqiu wanted to not be the one getting impaled by Luo Bingmei’s heavenly pillar!! I don’t really think Lan Wangji would reject Wei Wuxian either seeing as he would do whatever Wei Wuxian asked of him. Do not tell me “Well this character by canon is considered—“ because i really do not care, not everyone is going to follow canon and thats why HC exists.
