Is it obvious that Kris is my favorite character?

I'm serious when I say we gotta give Temmie Chang half the credit for Making Undertale (and Deltarune)

She's got an animation degree, I know the art in Undertale gets underappreciated sometimes because it's trying to evoke an older simpler style, but the art in Undertale is legit amazing and without Temmie, none of Toby's ideas would have been able to be realized (without finding some other artist and animator)

She deserves more flowers for being the one who made the vast majority of the art assets for an entire game that is one of the most commonly cited games as an influence on others (her style is so beloved and recognizeable, there's a fully complete Undertale fangame emulating it)

Ralsie if he was in Reverse 1999!

Ok last one!

So Ralsie would be a star afflatus. I'm also really tempted to classify him as an awakened since darkners and awakened are very similar in that they are objects given consciousness. They aren't the same but they are very close.

It took me a while to decide on a font for Ralsie's signature. I wanted something fancy but not too fancy. He's the prince of the dark so he probably has good penmanship but he's modest in a way that I don't think it would be over the top. If that makes sense?

Also just note that the I1 and I2 designs are swapped compared to my other ones because I had trouble replicating the goat face drawing lol.

Chapter 1 Ralsie design! This is a more realistic goat version of Ralsie which I'm happy with how it came out even though it was a pain to draw. One detail is that in this one his scarf is pulled up more over his face which not only adds to the fact he's shy about his appearance, but also gives a nice fang shape that you see in the chapter 1 talking sprite.

Not much to say other than the fact I'm really happy with how the goat face came out.

Chibi and Udimo:

I mainly referenced Barbara's chibi design which was really helpful for figuring out proportions.

For the udimo design, ideally it would be whatever item Ralsie is. We however don't know that yet. I currently really like the theory that he is Kris's red horn headband for a number of reasons (his horns are pink, he shows up wherever Kris is, basically Kris if they were a monster ect) so I went with that.

Ultimate: Pacify or The Legend

(I couldn't decide)

Pacify: apply Nightmare on enemies

The Legend: Mass mental attack (basically brain blast the enemies the the entire prophecy aka so much knowledge they explode)

Skill 1: Heal Prayer

Susie if she was in Reverse: 1999!

In honor of chapter 5 being announced, I'm finally going to actually post what I came up with for Susie and Ralsie.

So Susie would obviously be a beast afflatus, and fun fact I wrote her name with my left hand because I think her signature would be very messy.

I1: (left)

For her I1 I made her outfit very loose and baggy. I also gave her ripped jeans showing that her clothes aren't in the best condition. Her hair is also covering her eyes like the start of chapter one which kinda connects the insight system to gaining her trust.

I2: (right)

Once you reach insight 2 now you can see her eyes which happens when she officially joins your party in chapter 1! Also I made her a bit buff here because even if she probably isn't in the light world, the dark world is essentially a fantasy land so she can have muscles if she wants. And she can use them to impress Noelle lol
