hey, saw that you reblogged that post about elizabeth holmes. thought i should let you know that she turned out to be a massive fraud. the tech she claimed to have developed did not work and she got in a lot of trouble for lying to investors. she had to pay out a bunch of money in like 2018 cause she got convicted for the crime. there's even a tv series about it called the dropout starring amanda seyfried

i remember seeing a post just like the one you reblogged way back in the day before she was found out. i thought it was so cool and it was such a bummer to learn to truth later on though i'm glad to have seen the updated version of that post with the info about what had happened. figured i'd let you know too

every time I try to raise awareness of a powerful woman in tech, another person crawls out of the woodwork to try to tear her down. we just cant let a woman be powerful in modern society

[JERRY STARES AT GEORGE FROM ACROSS THE TABLE IN CONFUSION AND DISBELIEF FOR SEVERAL SECONDS]

JERRY: “You understand trans people?”

GEORGE: “Is that so hard to believe?”

JERRY: “I find it hard to believe you understand yourself.”

ELAINE: [WHILE CHEWING SANDWICH] "So what happens now? You go back to being a guy?"

GEORGINA: "Oh, no. This is real. This is, this is me. [ELAINE NODS] Unfortunately. Just instead of a man failure, I'm a girl failure."
