sophies and yukis relationship is one that's kinda similar to kanade and mafuyu (the characters featured in this frame)'s. the two of them went through the same trauma, but sophie ended up less emotionally affected, and she ended up attempting to use herself to save yuki from mistreatment by the agency they both worked for (more elaboration on this and the rest of their world coming later, ill link the post here once its done so those interested can see). unfortunately, it didn't work, and yuki ended up emotionally DESTROYED, along with her sense of self. (yuki hid her true opinions and feelings so much that she began believing she was the person she pretended to be, and after she left the agency she realized she didn't know what she truly felt about anything.) after this, sophie ended up giving EVERYTHING she had to save yuki, even if it came at the cost of her own wellbeing. yuki, on the other hand, refused to accept help because she was afraid of sophie betraying her just like she thought everyone else did. this created a sort of feedback loop (?) in which sophie reaches out to yuki and yuki just pulls away from sophie. eventually, with the help of a few other people, yuki learns to trust again and finally accepts the help sophie offers, but is still recovering and rediscovering who she is. for context, they're both training to be idols, under an agency at first, then independently with two other ocs (aoi and iroha), and the whole thing is a commentary on how celebrities (specifically kpop idols, but can apply to other groups of celebrities) are often mistreated by the people with little to no regard of their mental or physical health, and a commentary on toxic beauty standards, especially online and in certain asian countries (china, japan, korea).

So it’s not quite snowing on Churyumov–Gerasimenko, unfortunately; the white specks are artifacts of cosmic rays impinging on the CCDs in the camera, as well as a rotating starfield in the background (since the comet is spinning). A few specks could be dust. But, holy shit, that’s the surface of a comet. That’s a spot you could in theory cling to for dear life sit down on. The Cliffs of Comet 76p are a place. 

If that isn’t the neatest shit I don’t know what is.
