The Way of Kings

while i was speedruning through stormlight archive for the first time all of this nohadon being dalinar’s blorbo stuff really reminded me of that other guy… well you know the guy who wrote that one super popular self insert fic.

so here we have a partial redrawing of Dante And Virgil In Hell 1850. Paint by William-Adolphe Bouguereau.

this all started as a silly idea to make a quick stormlight archive themed master study, something i could pull in 2-3 days max. of course in a process i decided to make it a full piece and it took me approximately 2 weeks to finish 💀.

last week completely drained me and i didn’t want to start some of my bigger projects. i still wanted to draw something though so here we go with a quick sketch of jasnah (gatekeep, gaslight, girlboss og) in her shardplate.

The bored air accepted, and formed into oil all around them. It rained from the sky in a splash, and even appeared in the mouths of fighting soldiers. Her honor guard knew to withdraw at that sign, coughing and stumbling as they stepped back from the fight around her in a ten-yard circle. The enemy soldiers remained in place, cursing and coughing. Jasnah slammed her fists together—one affixed with steel, the other with flint. Sparks erupted in front of her, and the entire section of the battlefield came alight.

adolin would ABSOLUTELY rock frolov’s heart dress. he would also prepare two other dresses for shallan and kaladin (they probably need to sedate kaladin before but it is manageable).
