My thoughts:
I always forget how good this episode actually is. The scale of the plane crash site is incredibly well done. This might actually be one of the best mytharc episodes.
Running commentary:
* I hate planes.
* I do wonder what made them decide to bring max back in s4.
* Do those overhead lockers just not lock on American Airlines? Why’s shit always falling out of them??
* No because what if someone gets abducted by aliens while I’m on the plane and it causes my plane to crash? That’s so selfish.

Summary:
Following a lead on a case they just can’t seem to solve, an accident leaves Mulder with supernatural powers; the same powers their main suspect seems to posses. In a race against time to stop a series of murders, what could be a key to the case instead puts new obstacles in their way.

My thoughts:
The tagline is Italian and I’m sure the peskoff guy says it to scully at the end? I could be wrong but if I’m not why is a Russian man speaking Italian to scully?
I like this episode more than the first half (but that’s just expected now) especially with mulder and scully having scenes together at the end. Mytharc episodes are better when they’re not split up.

my friend's discord server has a "proof of touch grass" channel where they post pics of them doing regular activities outdoors/in public. i think many online spaces could benefit from such a thing
when i was super depressed - like struggling to eat anything barely able to get out of bed to pee depressed - my good friend asked me every day to send her a picture of me holding a leaf and a picture of a meal i was eating and it helped me significantly
(also, she was never judgey - if my meal was a single potato chip she would simply say good job eating a potato chip today <3 )
which is to say, i agree proof of touch grass is a good idea for online spaces
