given the current climate this pride especially i feel i must mention that i love my trans friends, i stand with trans people in the fight against transphobic legislation and those who would enforce it, and this blog is not a good place for you to be if you do not vibe with that

whenever discussing the erasure and lack of representation of trans men in media, it's best not to fall into the assumption that just because the image of a trans woman has a more prominent place in the cultural zeitgeist, doesn't mean they have better representation.

That's like saying black people in the 1920's had better representation than asian people because minstrel shows were popular.

i hate the fact that my mom's boyfriend is unemployed now not only bc i have to see him stand in the kitchen all day whenever im home, but also for the fact that i can't chill with my mom at night because he's there. i didn't do it often bc i had exams but now that i can he's in the couch with her. eww

my friend's mother has been dating the same guy for 10 years and he doesn't live with her bc she has a daughter, so he visits. i wish my mother would do the same. i respect her choice as a grown woman and im not going to boycott her and her ugly boyfriend's relationship but i do pray he hits me so i can take him to court or something.
