I love Minecraft, and I love BNHA, so I've been thinking of an AU where Class 1-A would have their own SMP they play on together.
I created a little list of what I think their play-styles/ focuses would be like down below:
Izuku
Probably has been playing since he was 10, overjoyed when he has friends in Class 1-A to play with on multiplayer
Definitely a huge nerd about the game, knows all about different game mechanics, easter eggs (i.e. jeb_ & dinnerbone), lore, etc.
I'd imagine he would be a redstoner, given how analytical he is and how he's able to problem-solve & think outside the box
Bakugo
Complains about being "forced" to play with Izuku, but secretly enjoys it
Big focus on combat/ PVP
Becomes the unofficial "leader" of the server (At first I thought he would be more aggressive and uncooperative, someone who constantly pick fights. But I like the idea of him being stern and brash, but determined to make sure everyone succeeds. I think it fits his character development a lot better.)
Normally he's calm (or as calm as he can be), but he loses his absolute sh*t whenever someone pranks him, no matter how small the prank is (I just find the idea funny :3)
Todoroki
Never got a chance to play as a kid (because of Endeavor's Bad Parenting TM), but enjoys playing with his friends
When he's first introduced to the game, he's very confused by Minecraft's weird mechanics and crazy physics
He'd take a little bit of time to get used to the game and learn how to play, but after that, becomes a builder
And I mean the type of builder where you log on the next day, and where there used to be nothing, there's now a giant freaking castle with all the details: flags, gardens, even a river moat. (This is inspired by Shouto renovating his dorm room in just one day: Season 3, episode 13)
Ochako
Ochako! My girlie! 💖 I love her sm :D
She'd definitely love building cutesy houses & things; I imagine her style to be very similar to Geminitay's building style
She and Tsuyu would definitely love building together
I think she would also focus on combat, given how she's incorporated Gunhead martial arts into her hero work. She's sweet and bubbly, but she's also a tenacious fighter, and that part of her character deserves to be recognized.
Tsuyu
She would definitely make aquatic-themed builds; She would also probably love the Mangrove Swamp biome.
As stated above, she and Ochako love building together
I don't see her as one to pull pranks or get into shenanigans, she would have a calmer playstyle, more focused on expressing her creativity through the game.
These are just my thoughts, I might turn this into an AU at some point, but for now, it's just an idea I had that I thought I'd share!
I know this is pretty messy and I only included a few people, so I want to rewrite/ upgrade it at some point to create a full AU. If you have any thoughts or suggestions, please let me know, I'd love to hear them! :D
officially started season 3 and finally finished my ep 39-43 drawings phew!
it's really cute seeing everyone interact with each other and bakugou had so many silly scenes i was thriving while watching. A lot of people have been telling me season 3 is when everything starts to ramp up and I'm so excited
these cats are displaying remarkable theory of mind skills by not only registering that the humans can perceive them but actively trying to manipulate that perception! that requires one to be aware that other individuals have complicated interior thoughts of their own, to know that those thoughts are not always based on truth, and to quickly decide on the best possible “lie” for the situation. this is why I despise animal intelligence tasks based on obedience— some of the most clever moments stem from intelligent disobedience.
Racism in fandom spaces is actually insanely bad and if you ever try to downplay or avoid conversations about it because "fandom is supposed to be fun" then I'm not sorry to say this: You're adding on to the problem.
If POC speaking up about a fandom's racism issue offends you more than the racism itself, you need to think about that. You need to think about how POC fighting racism offends you more than the racism.
About three years ago I made designs for The Owl House characters as Pokemon. I wanted to go back to that AU several times, but it's only now with the announcement of the upcoming graphic novel that inspiration came back full force. I even drew three characters that I couldn't originally (though sadly I had no more space left for Hunter, RIP...), but I hope to draw more in the future!
You may notice that some designs were altered slightly from their previous look, but for the most part everyone's still the same as what I had them originally. If you have questions regarding my choices don't be afraid to ask!
