I wanted to make it clear that I used to think having anti-contact nom*p communities could lead people to getting treatment but I have since heard there’s issues with people claiming to be “contact neutral” etc and not fully disapproving of abuse.

Any sexual contact between an adult and a child is abuse, as is “romantic” non-sexual contact.

I think that making sure people know they can chose not to do abusive things is a really important part of preventing this abuse. It is also important to hold people accountable for abuse if they abuse anyone.

In addition, I do not want to say things that hurt people with intrusive thoughts or POCD; just because you have thoughts you don’t like doesn’t make you a monster. How you act is what determines your character.
