i hope one day some of y’all can learn that reputation is not a bad album NOR overproduced it’s her most experimental one already in my opinion, the sound is so unique, and it was such a necessary album to take back her narrative and make it clear that behind a person's reputation there is a story that has not been told, a story that is delicate, vulnerable and profound.

say what you will about Scott but the thing about them being an indie label is that merch store ran like a small business, and i think Taylor was v in the loop about stuff. I wouldn’t be surprised if she didn’t have an ounce of say in the UMG merch or anything about it.

She also doesn’t control stuff we all hate like the limited time releases, or the fact they mostly manufacture on demand and that’s why it takes forever. Look at any UMG artist’s merch, it’s all the same way. I use the JoBros as an example because they’re on Republic too, and their store does the exact same shit. It’s not something Taylor has control over. It’s all UMG’s shit show.
