The way people are acting, you'd think the Hughes bros harped a baby seal on live tv. they were wasted dumbasses not serial killers. People have already said they ruined SNL. A 5 minute segment where they made a few mild jokes ruined a show that has been on since the 1970s??? That show has had many many people on that arent great people. OJ Simpson hosted. Hell, Tr*mp hosted it once.

My unpopular US hockey opinion (no one asked for)

Most of those guys are dumbasses who were too scared to disagree with Trump instead of pro-pdf trump lovers that made fun of women hockey.

The FBI POS likely invited himself to party or was invited by certain staff/players and anybody who made waves about it would likely committing career suicide.

They were put on the spot after playing a hockey game, winning, and consuming enough beer to poison a medieval village.

The Hughes bros made a lot of tone deaf public choices since this happened but shouldn't be seen as worse than the others because of their mom.

Both publicly praised women hockey before and after this happened and Quinn even mentioned something about not being sure what he could say so maybe US hockey or NHL is censuring what they can say??

Every player who has said anything about it was seen as not doing enough by most people. I don't think there is anything they could possibly say that would make most people happy.

Sone of the hockey players are actually trump supporters and laughed at women's hockey. We wont ever know exactly who was too uncomfortable to speak up and who agreed. :/

If they didn't have a good excuse, refusing to go to the white house individually could have been a bad move for their careers. It's known many hockey managements are MAGA. Every player who didn't go all said excuses related to hockey games or family.

I think their previous and continuing actions speak louder than the video.

It sucks that US men finally win gold and Trump ruins the vibes and they can't visit the white house as many olympians before them without looking bad. And women don't feel like they were even welcomed.

I hate Trump and everything he's done to this country and how he's tarnished our winning 2 for 2 golds in hockey.

I've loved hockey for years and i refuse to let that (words too strong to even say on tumblr) ruin this game for me. He's taken enough.

I'll watch to see how they act going forward. Don't just say you support women's hockey, do it.

Oh and an add on is that all the energy that people put into hating the hockey players should be directed to the director of the FBI partying with them instead of doing his gd job and at the president for being a pos that cant even handle a fucking phone call without embarrassing the country and insulting people.
