god damn im terribly sorry for being so ia I don't even have an excuse. but omg hi, i have been shipping byler since s2 tbh? but I started participating in the community only around a year ago. uhmmm my fav moment would have to be the hand holding moment when mike was trying to calm will down in s2 AND IK ITS BASIC BUT. as for being a byler on here its definitely all the funny people I've met like s4 premiere and everything that came after that was the most fun I had IN AGES! have a good day MWAH XX

To add on to the whole "the writers didn't forget will's birthday" theory, here's a shot from the first few minutes of season 4 where on the right of the screen you can see a part of the newspaper talking about birthdays, even having in bold large text the words "your birthday".

Additional:

To back up my claim that this little detail is proof that they didn't forget will's birthday,

notice how the blacked out parts of the wordsearch mirror parts of each other from 4 different sides which parallels the 4 gates that opened across hawkins.

Also the word "watchmakers" at the top left linking to vecna's grandfather clock.

The people working on the show have also said that the small details do matter so y'know.

i will never never ever shut up about the s2 byler dynamic because it’s perfect, it’s all i could ever ask for. will being possessed, literally screaming crying throwing up, saying ominous things like “HE IS LYING” and mike just sleeping by his side and looking at him with heart eyes
