Wait oh my god I just realized:

El tells Mike he can't rewrite the ending while Will is shown onscreen.

All three of them in their respective pertinent lines:

Mike's campaigns, where he gets to be the hero, and he's shown onscreen worrying about Will.

You don't get to write the ending, there's no escaping things [you] set in motion when you were 12 even if you want something different now, while showing Will.

Not this time, we're stuck and it's too late to turn around. While it shows onscreen the 'ending' he feels 'stuck' in: El.

Mike's campaigns: Mike writes them to be a hero because he worries about his loved ones the way we see ONSCREEN here and wants the control to save them.

Will: Will is the ending he wants to change to.

El: El is the "this time". The situation that just happens to you. You feel you have no power to change it even if you tried.

Additionally, El's pessimism also is representative of her because of her lowered faith in herself after seeing Max in a coma, but that's an analysis I've made in other posts.

Ok the summary of Lucca event:

-finn fave season is s2 and he says that it is underrated because it is “controversial”

- when The Duffers say that they knew from the beginning how the story of Stranger Things would end, the whole cast turns to look smiling at Noah and he smiles.

- The question to Noah about how his character will evolve in Season 5 makes Ross turn to look at Finn, laughing and making funny gestures, and Finn smiles and gives a thumbs up.

- When they ask Finn about Mike’s journey, as usual he doesn’t know what to say, and after some “uhh, err, mmm,” he says the usual thing and ends it there.

The trailer just confirmed that in s1 Vecna took Will, not demogorgon. (even tho we knew that already)

in this scene, he calls will ‘william’ which means he knows who he is. some people could argue that he knows him through the shadow monster when it possesed Will but this scene in the beggining of the trailer proves otherwise:

Vecna says: “At long last, we can begin.”

Another argument could be that this is after Vecna takes will but 1st of all, i dont think they would show any scenes from that in a trailer and 2nd of all compare the hands and claws

these are both his right hand and in the later picture we can see how much bigger it has gotten and also the claws..

ill just keep praying for my boy Will, if he could survive him when he was 11 he will survive now.

i did a zoom enhance on the map with my average photoshop skills and i found some points of interest

that little sticker or drawing on the map isn't the hawkins church - it's the library where the curse gates converged. the church from what we've seen has two little towers at the sides of the building, but the library has that big clock tower at the back depending on how you're facing the building. we see it's in the town square next to main street, bob's radio shack, and by melvald's general store which is what we see behind mike in what appears to be ep.4 and the big fight is in the town square area i believe.

points of interest:

the location of melvald's general store in relation to everything

bob's radio shack on the map

the note that looks like "tunnel entrance"

i'm not sure what the "macz" note could mean. the red crosshatched area is the military zone around that main curse gate so i'm thinking it's an abbreviation.
