What is the character afraid of?
Does it make sense if I say being too soft?? I see him as a Hufflepuff but I think he had pretty strong internalised homophobia because at least one of his parents was relatively shitty when he was younger. He always felt guilty saying no to them/going against their will and then he finally cut them off but it took so much work and he's just worried now that he's not strong enough to leave people even if they hurt him
How do they deal with bad memories?
Lock them down until he's alone and then probably have an anxiety attack in a bathroom (real for this one)!! In a benjy x caradoc context (benjydoc?? carajy?? wow those SUCK) or even just in a wider amethysts friendship context it takes him quite a bit to open up because again, he's worried if he opens up people will judge him for being too soft or underestimate his character
What is this character’s role in a horror movie?
pretends to be stoic and tries to guide the other characters and then his best friend like dies and he screams and sobs for a harrowing fifteen minutes
How do they hide their secrets?
Just, like, shuts the fuck up?? He's really quiet, youre NOT getting anything out of him. If someone raises something to him like 'hey is this true' he'll simply deny and move on. He has giveaways, though - he squeezes his hands into fists until his knuckles are white if he's anxious or lying. He usually hides them in his pockets though, so you won't realise unless you know him well
Which of the Seven Deadly Sins does the character relate to most?
Wrath. He hides it well but he's angry, about everything, about the way he's been treated, at his friends' parents, at himself. Like genuinely a deep, honest pit of resentment at everything the people he cares about have been through. He's an angry crier, though, which just pisses him off more.
