Look I know nature is harsh and this is life, but when you fucking mislead people into believing an animal is safe and fine only to show that, actually, no they are not!!! They got eaten!!! And you don't have any trigger warning (Like I assume that for the video they probably figure that kids watch the majority of the video and tune out when the Patreon backers are shown so they probably wanted to keep it kid friendly and like... actually no there really was no reason to show the fate of the duckling on video??? Like. Other than for shock value??? What the fuck???) and I'm just. NGL I feel pretty fucking betrayed.

Look I know they're a nature channel and death and animals eating other animals is a part of life but like. When they feed snakes they feed them already dead mice or rats. I'm mentally prepared for that.

I was NOT mentally prepared for a baby duckling they implied was doing well in their new home being shown to actually have been eaten alive. What even is this logic??? Like???

Anyway, if you're triggered by animal death, don't watch beyond the patreon credits of their newest video "Weird Things that Happen at Snake Discovery (Shenanigans Ep. 2)" because there is absolutely no trigger warning for that clip and like. It's far away and you don't see any blood or gruesome imagery, the duckling gets dragged under water by a bigger animal and that's the end of it, but. Yeah.

Like as an alcoholic I HATE the fatphobia related to any form of treatment. The idea that I should stop drinking cause it'll make me lose weight, the way doctors will point out my "beer belly" before they talk about my liver or my kidneys or the social aspect of my drinking problem, the way people only care about my drinking problem cause it makes me fat. You don't care about me as someone who's struggling with addiction.

Wahoo! It's been announced that the two main Klonoa games are being remade and will be coming to the Nintendo Switch this July as Klonoa Phantasy Reverie Series. I'm glad this mostly forgotten franchise is finally being remembered! I wonder if they'll include an English dub like the 2008 remake?

Anyone else find it dumb how literally every house in the UK has a radiator, yet barely any of them have air conditioning? I mean, you can easily throw a sweater on if it's too cold, or snuggle down under a blanket, but when it's boiling hot you can take literally every single item of clothing off and still be scorching hot!

I've finally decided to return after a hiatus of nearly five years - lots of crap has happened in my life between then and now, and I don't currently have the energy to explain it all in one post, but I'd just like to say that I'll be trying to become more active on here.

Also, I'm probably gonna go through some of my older posts and delete them, just because I kind of cringe at some of the things I spoke about back then.

Over a Year

Hard to believe I’ve been posting this Tumblr for over a year. Quite frankly, I’ve not really given it much thought - it’s mostly an outlet for me to rant about stuff and let out my feelings. It’s got barely any followers and to be fair I mostly use it as a sort of time capsule to reflect.

Anyhow, I’m back home now. Things have admittedly been going quite well recently - I’ve been taking up 3D modelling in my spare time, as it gives me a chance to flex my brain and also allows me to focus, which I find somewhat difficult these days. Furthermore, I’m also going playing Adventure Golf on Tuesday with a friend - he’s friends with a guy who used to run an autistic society, and he’s agreed to take me along with my friend and this other guy. Last week we were supposed to go bowling, but thanks to stupid Amazon logistics and my phone being left upstairs I ended up missing out, but did get to go for dinner with them later which was nice.

Last month I decided to donate some of Chris’s old books. I got around £8 in total, which isn’t loads, but donated it all to Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary anyway. I still miss him loads and still find it painful, especially as it’s now around a year since we last played Hearthstone together. But I’m glad I got at least one last chance to play with him, and I know he’d be happy for me. I don’t think I’ll ever get over it, to be truthful, but it might get a little bit more bearable as time progresses.

A Long Overdue Update

It’s been quite a while since I last posted on here, and a fair bit has happened during the period I’ve been away - my phone broke. Yes, my LG G3, like my LG G2, suffered screen issues. However, the repair company were actually able to fix it this time and right now I’m waiting for them to deliver it.

Secondly, I’ve started work on a new portfolio website, and can happily say I’ve been getting on well with my college work. On the downside, however, these past couple of days I’ve been somewhat depressed. I can’t say the majority of it extends from me missing Chris, as I’ve slowly begun to accept that he’s gone (I still miss him like hell), but more about other issues I have that are pretty hard to explain. I’ve also felt a bit used recently and like people are only interested in me if it benefits them. It may just be my overthinking, but I know there may be an element of truth to it.

Anyway, I digress. I’ll try to keep this blog updated if just for the sole purpose of having somewhere to let my thoughts out. I’ve considered starting up a music blog at some point too where I can post reviews and other music-related stuff.
