This bring me the horizon cover is blowing the fuck up and it's so deserved. Maphra is an astounding vocalist, her flexibilty between harsh and clean vocals is phenomenal.

I think that if you are a person who doesn't typically like harsh or growling vocals in music, you might enjoy this.

She has a really deft touch in adding grit to her voice but it isn't overwhelming.

(Again I am a death metal fan I am so far from objective about understanding how much harsh people can tolerate lmao BUT STILL!!!)

Anyway, Maphra! She's only got six songs on youtube and they are all covers and they are all great. I'm really excited for her to do original stuff.

haven't posted on here in AGES so here's a little life update:

I'm hot now and I'm also mentally stable and thriving 🙂‍↕️

I'm 2 1/2 years into my transition and every day I feel a little more comfortable with myself and in my body. I love being masculine but I also love figuring out my feminine side now 🩵🤍🩷

a bit over a year ago, I got out of a really shitty relationship and even though I definitely wasn't doing well for a while there, I'm now in a really good place. I feel like I've grown a lot in the past year and I'm a lot happier nowadays 💫

I'm getting to know someone new now as well, it's still super fresh but I think she's really cute so we'll see :) the story of how we met is also really funny, makes it almost feel destined to be :D

I'm almost done with my translating degree and after that I'll get a job and start looking for my own apartment 🙂‍↕️

PS: Pancake is also doing great, he's getting old (he's turning 16 soon) but he doesn't have any health issues at all yet 🥰
