I think I may know what happened here…
what do you mean this wasn't the episode
I just noticed an interesting detail in TADC episode 6!
During the award show, Ragatha and Pomni seemed to intentionally save a seat for Jax, with Pomni looking concerned when he chose not to sit with the group.
Then, after the whole scene with Jax in the restroom, we see this scene between Pomni and Ragatha, where BOTH seem genuinely concerned about Jax.
Notice how, even without saying a word, Ragatha seems to "ask" Pomni something with her body language in regard to Jax... to which Pomni shakes her head no and both seem worried.
Now I want to pair this with that one line Rags says to Kinger earlier in the episode...
"I think, I might've failed Pomni... just like I failed Jax."
I don't know the exact implication of these details, but it very much seems to me like both Ragatha and Pomni are aware of and concerned about something deeper going on with Jax. And I'm thinking that the next couple episodes will be them trying to figure out how to be there for and help him without pushing themselves on him... like what Kinger advised Ragatha.
My prediction is that it won't necessarily be a major focus, but there will be a moment where Jax does need help, and these two will be the ones willing to be there for him, despite everything. This will probably lead to him actually opening up later.
Also, I'm 100% certain that Jax's REAL archetype is the anxious one rather than the funny one. Everything from him this episode, as well as his suspicion and skepticism of Ragatha in episode 5... it just screams anxiety. And it would make a lot of sense if Zooble's "character gimmicks" is anything to go on... rabbits tend to be rather timid and anxious creatures despite how tough they sometimes act.
The way Jax's face shifts when he realizes that he was showing too much emotion and that his mask slipped. *chef's kiss*
An idea cause we all thought she was going to shoo herself
Being a little too cold: brrrr i’m a little too cold !!!
Being a little too warm: i am going to kill the next person who makes eye contact with me.
they all acted as narrative foils to Jax's character this episode which I really enjoyed
