New Harry Potter story I’m working on. A 7 year old Harry gets the knowledge of one who lived over a hundred years. In the new world he tries to manipulate events, but in doing so seemingly causes the Weasleys to be murdered, leaving him without the family that had been an anchor to him in his last life.

I haven’t settled on the ships just yet, but it’s not Harry/Hermione, and will probably have Sirius Black/Hestia Jones.

Domeric Bolton is probably my favorite 'could have been' character in A Song of Ice and Fire. I wish more fan fics used him when they had characters go back in time or alter events. There's so much that could be done with him. 

He's described as quiet but accomplished, having served as a page for Lady Dustin and a Squire in the Vale. He played the high harp, read history and rode well. He enjoyed the companionship of the man he squired's sons enough that he sought out Ramsay, wanting to be with his brother even if he was a bastard. 

Where even when cold Ramsay seems to be holding back boiling rage, I imagine Domeric would have been cold and calm like Roose, calculating but not as callous or cruel. 

I can't help imagining that Domeric could actually be pretty friendly with Jon, and imagine Ned's reaction if he found Domeric trying to tech Jon the harp, trying to convince him it was worth the effort by telling him stories of how even though he was an excellent knight, Rhaegar played the harp as well.

There’s so much potential for him in fan fiction I hope more people remember the Bolton who could have been. The lost good son.

I know I’m not saying anything new, but I just posted a chapter of a fic doing a version of the traitor scene and put something about this in my notes. 

I don’t mind the other changes too much. I like them being in tears, but I also like them being self righteous pricks. Stuff’s different and that’s cool. I loved Hardhome in the show, but fuck Olly. 

Olly is the worst kind of OC. The kind that’s put in a fan fic and ruins awesome moments rather than supporting them. Everyone involved with making, and then allowing Jon’s last word to be ‘Olly’ is a fucking idiot. 

One word changed and the clip would be in every video about Jon, a legendary moment in television. Instead we were robbed of an incredible moment of Jon whispering Ghost as he’s stabbed so some writers could jerk themselves off over their OC. Fuck Olly and fuck everyone involved with letting his name steal what should have been an amazing piece of media.

The first chapter of my new Game of Thrones fan fic! It’s based on show canon but altered by Lysa sending Sansa to the Wall after she arrives at the Eyrie out of fear of losing Petyr, and her arriving during Hardhome. 

It is much longer than Weirwood Wife, less a challenge and more written for fun. 

The first half is firmly Jonsa, but I’m playing with making the second half Jonsanerys to play on parallels with Aegon, Visenya and Rhaenys. It’s not at the point where it’s definite yet, but once I know it will be made clear in the tags for the story.

My attempt at Game of Thrones fanfiction! Jonsa fanfiction to be specific. I wrote a oneshot before this as a kind of test run, but it’s unposted, so this is the first time I’ve posted fanfiction anywhere in years. (My old stuff is on a different site, under a different name, for a different fandom, and long deleted... I think.)

It’s written as a kind of example to hopefully show the characters don’t need to be changed too drastically or bashed to get what the writer wants. Thanks to all who take the time to read through it. Hopefully it’s enjoyable <3
