This is back on my dash! And listen, I love to see Amir Khusrau getting appreciation, but this translation ignores a lot. The original rhymes! And scans! And does playful things with register! And conveys a tone of affectionate banter between the two speakers, not least because it has them both addressing each other as sakhi (translated above as “girl”) in the last two lines. I think taking some liberties with line order is worth it to preserve more of the rest—and I think there’s a better translation of sakhi. And so:

Hi! these are gorgeous images, but they're not from artemis ii. I've been seeing these images shared all day saying they are, but they're from photographer Ildar Ibatullin (instagram), who does a lot of post processing and uses filters and high saturation to enhance the colors.

The artemis ii astronauts were describing faint colors on the moon (specifically brown and green if i remember correctly), but the colors don't show up in images.

There are plenty of beautiful images from the artemis ii flyby, we don't need to spread misinfo!

every official artemis ii photo will be posted on the nasa multimedia gallery, so you can run your own fact-checking. if it's not in the gallery, it's not from artemis ii. simple as that. it may be ai generated or just a previous photo of the moon from a photographer on earth, but the bottom line is, only photos from the gallery are from artemis ii

The deuteranomaly and protanomaly ones are very similar but they are different. The purple section ranges out a little farther to the right in the protanomaly one. Not seeing the difference between might not indicate color blindness but rather difficulty with color differentiation.
