Creative treatment, script, creative direction and oversight: Caitlin Bergmann, Executive Director of Integrated Marketing at MIT Technology Review
Production & Post: The Reserve Label
Working closely with the leadership team at Technology Review and with our production partners at The Reserve Label, I took on the challenge of crafting a “brand being” video that allowed us to underscore Tech Review’s desire to advance the promise of technology across the editorial, events, sponsorships and content we create. I managed the entire process, from pitch to production.
Our Modern-Day Global Space Race
The Atlantic Festival (2020)
Session Producer for The Atlantic Festival: Caitlin Bergmann
Client: HPE
In 2020 the 13th annual Atlantic Festival went digital. As an underwriter sponsor of the event, HPE had an eight-minute session to discuss the importance of Exascale Day and how the leading researchers and scientists are pushing the boundaries of science with models and simulations using the world’s most powerful supercomputers.
Exascale, the next frontier of supercomputing, doesn’t belong to any person, any company, or any country — it’s about the importance of pushing ourselves to be smarter, better; to go further.
In this discussion at The 2020 Atlantic Festival, HPE’s Dr. Eng Lim Goh lays out breakthroughs we can expect as we approach the next level of high-performance computing with The Atlantic’s publisher, Hayley Romer.

VP, Content Director: Caitlin Bergmann
Partner: Atlantic Re:think
Production & Post: Voyager
Whether you’re sitting courtside or watching from the concessions line, edge-powered tech will soon allow sports fans to make their own expert call. We created this long form video (our third in three years) with The Atlantic to reach ITDMs with this story of sports meets tech. It featured a behind-the-scenes peek at Chase Center in San Francisco, California, home of Golden State Warriors while it was actively under construction.

VP, Content Director: Caitlin Bergmann
Partner: Great Big Story
Production & Post: Courageous
Each year, 50 million tons of e-waste are created. Hewlett Packard Enterprise is on a mission to change this, breathing new life into old technology through its global #HPEUpcycling initiative. See how 18-year-old artist Zayd Menk is representing this through art, creating a model of London’s Westminster area using discarded IT materials.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise: “Moral Code: The Ethics of AI” — An Original Film (2018)
VP, Content Director: Caitlin Bergmann
Partner: Atlantic Re:think
Production & Post: Dress Code
The now ubiquitous functions of AI have changed our lives dramatically, but what’s possible today will be dwarfed by the great potential of AI in the near future.
We produced this long form original film with The Atlantic to echo the thought leadership stance HPE was taking on the ethical implications of artificial intelligence and the role it plays in our lives, for better or worse.

Hewlett Packard Enterprise: “Your Concert Tickets, Bought on the Blockchain” (2018)
VP, Content Director: Caitlin Bergmann
Partner: Great Big Story
Production & Post: Courageous
When Jason Robert got his first paying music gig at age 14, he was instantly hooked. For years, he toured as a drummer, reveling in the community he and his fellow musicians built with audiences around the world. The live, electric connection between a band and its audience can’t be digitally replicated, but technology can play a huge role in bringing them together. Blockchain can enable ticket purchases directly between artists and fans, leaving scalpers to find another hustle.
Hewlett Packard Enterprise: “Closer to a Cure: Combating Alzheimer’s” (2017)
VP, Content Director: Caitlin Bergmann
Partner: Great Big Story
Production & Post: Courageous
The human brain remains a complex mystery. But, if we dare to dream big—and have the proper tools and data to fuel those ambitions—we may one day discover cures for diseases as devastating as Alzheimer’s. At the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases (DZNE), more than 1,000 neuroscientists are using the latest technology to identify bio-markers that can predict the onset of Alzheimer’s. Using HPE Memory-Driven Computing architecture, researchers have the ability to identify patterns within vast collections of data 100x faster than ever before, accelerating progress towards finding a cure.
