Anomaly 🐛

noah wyle or scott gemmill will straight up look down the camera in an interview and say "the whole point of the show is empathy", and half the fucking fandom will still turn around and say that robby (and by proxy, all mentally ill people like him) deserves to die because his depression is more than quiet sadness.

when the writers and producers and actors all tell you point blank that the show is about empathy, and finding it wherever you can for all people, and you're there wishing death on mentally ill people? yeah, they're talking to YOU. YOU are the one who has fundamentally misunderstood the show. YOU are the one that they're trying to spoon feed that empathy to, but you're just keeping your mouth closed.

if you're really unable to find a scrap of empathy for a severely burnt-out and overworked healthcare worker who is trying to take his own life, you either need to take a long hard look at yourself in the mirror and grow up, or stop watching the show. because at that point you need to accept that it's not the show for you.
