About Me
Hello!!! My name is Calla, or Gumi. I’m a writer, editor, and beta reader who specializes in emotionally precise, character‑driven storytelling and clear feedback. I work with all genres, all tones, and all types of projects, from novels to short stories, essays, worldbuilding documents, character sheets, and more. If needed I will do research to ensure that I am understanding what my client wants. Unless the research takes over an hour, there will be no additional fee.

1. Beta Reading - Reader reactions + clarity notes + pacing + character feedback
$20 per 10k words
$50 for full manuscripts up to 80k words Includes:

2. Proofreading (Light Editing) - Grammar, typos, clarity, small fixes
$0.01 per word or
$10 per 1,000 words
3. Line Editing - Sentence flow, tone, emotional beats, readability
$0.02 per word or
$20 per 1,000 words

Sentence rewrites
Tone consistency
Dialogue polish
Stronger emotional delivery
Improved pacing at the sentence/paragraph level
4. Developmental Editing - Plot, structure, character arcs, worldbuilding, pacing
$0.03 per word or
$30 per 1,000 words

5. Creative Writing Commissions (Very <33)
I can do any time of scene, but I excel at dramatic, dark, and descriptive.
$0.08 per word
Minimum order: 300 words

Everything else is fair game. I do reserve the right to turn away work if I so wish.
Turnaround Time
Short pieces (under 5k): 2–4 days
Medium pieces (5k–20k): 4–7 days
Long pieces / full manuscripts: 1–3 weeks Rush orders available for an additional fee of $25.
Revisions
3 free revision for small projects
5 free revisions for larger projects
Additional revisions negotiable depending on scope
