The character designs I’ve attached are of an original character I scribbled back in 2008 that I decided to bring back to life.

I’ve been drawing on and off since about 2006 (I have a membership with Deviantart of 11 years but my art is older than that) and I gave it up around 6 years ago because work/fitness/other hobbies/dog sh*t computer with the lag rate of a snail etc. but I got some new tech in 2019 and I’m able to draw digitally again now with no issues WHICH IS SO NICE 😭
Since the pandemic, and my gym and acrobatics school being closed, I haven’t had much else to do so I got back into art and now.. I just want to thank people for their support, their interest and just for helping me on my journey 🥰 I’ve got a long way to go but I don’t think it’s too late for me?! I’m not asking for much, just a follow and a share if you want to be entered into the prize draw.
I have other art on my page that spans from fanart, to celebrity portraits, to sports illustrations but I am going to be more consistent now and essentially go back into original art and making my own original designs and characters again.
I hope to see some of you there either way, and even if you don’t follow me I hope you’ll take a minute to check my work out 😊

I just want to be seen that's all, the internet is full of artists so I keep thinking "why am I bothering?". I guess I still care... I just want people to have my work and be happy/proud to own it yknow? I want my work to be craved. I do have very happy clients from some past commissions I've done and they always come back (hence a client) for more art but I wish I had a bit of a bigger audience yknow?
Also I'm so sick of people just being interested in my work until they hear my price (which is a lot less than some others are charging!!). Like dudes I spent 3hrs minimum of a piece, grafting, plus there's an hour's research before that I don't charge for!? I'm really am not asking much, a lot of the time I am out of pocket trying to just get interest and an audience, especially on Etsy 😞

Ranting here cause at least noone I know follows this.
Soooo sick of a particular mate of mine. She's not even a friend.
She skinny shames me regularly, but then will say on a night out how attractive she actually thinks I am (so basically she shames me when sober but boasts me when not).
I'm sick of the fact that she talks to our mutual mates about "how good they are at art" but I also do art and she never ever says a peep about my work? She just lerks about on my art pages and doesn't support me or interact with me.
I think I hate her guys.
She used to be so rotten with me when I was going through stuff with my ex. Don't get me wrong the whole situation was messy and I was not an innocent party at all but her advice was always "get your head out your arse" like I'm sorry but being with someone who had mental health issues which troubled me? How does that require me to pull my head out my arse? There was nothing I could do.
She's the most selfish person I know. People keep telling me she's jealous of me and I am like 3 years older than her so why does she need to be?
She never gets me a card for my birthdays, nevermind presents. I threw her a surprise(ish) social distance party last year and I paid for her takeaway and decorated my garden and she literally can't even ring to say hello unless it's to talk about herself. Why do I insist on hanging onto mates who aren't even mates. I'm a f×cking moron and clearly like to punish myself.

Any fellow crossers out there want to visit my island? I have a dock, shisha lounge and private pool club for Chalet residents only! Beaches haven’t been decorated yet, and my private study behind the old house in Jbeil (the museum) still needs a little work, but my island is inspired by Byblos and Jbeil, I’ve tried to replicate Harissa as best I could and I tried to make Holiday Beach too! I need a minute to just have a rant.
So I'm an Aerialist, been learning hoop and on/off silks (teacher's fault, she didn't like silks) since 2018. Since 2019 I've been doing pole and for some reason my dad is taking the hump.
He lies to my face saying he's supportive and thinks it's cool or whatever but then has a huge go at my mum about my choice in extra curriculum activity.

I'm not a sexy poler either, I am a sports/tricks poler (I'm only not sexy cause I don't have a sexy bone in my body in my opinion) so how my own father can sexualize my Instagram which is full of none revealing trick shots of silks and hoop ALSO is beyond me.
I'm just hurt that 1) he seemingly doesn't have the balls to discuss it with me like an adult and 2) instead of talking to me he makes snide comments like "I don't want to have to tell people my daughter is a pole dancer" I'm not a fucking pole dancer, that is a job title along with exotic dancer, exotic instructor, pole instructor, personal trainer, secretary. Get it? I am a student and I fucking love doing it because it's so fun and you can become so strong and it's helped my flexibility sooo much I can't even tell you.
It just breaks my heart because when I do hoop or silks he's all for it. Pole? I just get jokes made at me. From my own father.
I can't tell you how much that hurts.
When I have children I will never ever be like this, so thank you dad for the useful parenting tip.
My kids wanna dress like princesses, boy or girl? Fine. If my kids wanna do pole themselves? Here for it. It they wanna do ANYTHING that is not harmful to themselves or others, I am down for that.
I'm actually very glad I've never felt a need to augment my body/face in anyway. I'm not saying I'm perfect, I have insecurities of my own, but deep down it's nice to know that I'd never change what I am.
Goals for the end of 2018
Do the splits.
Master "walk on air" on any hanging apparatus.
Do shoulder mount.
I don't want to be tired anymore.
2017
Screw a resolution I'm going to set myself a list of to-dos. Yes to-dos! Things that I had every intention of following and sticking to no matter what to help me have a less stressful year because quite frankly? I'm tired of giving a shit about really pointless and stupid stuff so here we go: 1. Do not take any photos if I'm only taking them with the intention of uploading them to social media. - it's a waste of memory and I don't upload them. 2. Draw more, it calms me and it's practice. 3. Spend more time with people who matter and less time with people who don't. 4. STOP MAKING AN EFFORT FOR PEOPLE WHO DO NOT RETURN IT. 5. I don't have to explain myself to anyone and I don't have to tell anyone jack shit. - not even because I want to keep to keep my life secret, I've nothing to hide but equally I don't have to tell anyone anything. 6. Keep my room tidier. - that shit messes with my feng shu. 7. Stop being lazy and do something when I say I want to do something. - money is expendable and although I spend more money than I can ever make, it doesn't mean I should put a break on things I want to do. 8. Get off social media. - I had a blackout month and it felt great, I'm not saying I need to do the same again but it might be worth me investing in a separate device to keep it all on, it kills my mood, my real life social skills and I'm bored of staring at bumbling idiots who are famous for having no talent. 9. Be more gracious and be more grateful for what I have. 10. The only thing that is constant in my life is me, so I need to stop punishing myself for nothing and just breathe. - I'm not saying I don't care about others, but my health and my well being will stop me walking into an early grave, so I need to work on that. I won't always follow these, I'm human and I will falter and stumble, but I want to try harder to follow these kind of "rules" because I want to just live in peace if nothing else. I'm tired of feeling like I'm powerless and don't have a choice. Sure there are things that I can't control but accidents happen and they don't mean I'm going to die (most of them) nor do they mean the world will blow up. So I need to chill out and remember that he important things in life. I invite you all to share with me your thoughts for the new year ^_^ and I wish you all a fantastic night full of laughter and hilarious antics, and may your spirits be lifted ready for whatever 2017 can throw at us.
