Introduction to myself 🧸

Hello everyone, my name is Cassie , I'm a French college student in biology 🫧. I made this blog to share my studying experience and also daily life stuff because I myself, love those kind of content. I'm an INTP, I love movies/series, music, books, art, food ... almost anything . I'm excited to be here, and hope I will get to connect with other people here, maybe for motiviation, tips or just talking about anything else.

Hello guys!

I have a whole free week ahead of me. My motivation and discipline are coming back cause I was totally not into it anymore. I started reviewing the basics in some subjects and progressively understanding the whole new lessons in each subjects. It's really satifsying to be honest, it feels better to go in class knowing you'll understand what the teacher is talking about. Also, I bought some new stuff as you can see, feels good 🪞

I'm having a hard time focusing in class, apart from that it's going okay. I noticed that my study plan and schedule for this semester is harder to follow than I thought cause i just want to sleep when I get home or have alone time watching my favorite stuff. I'll try replacing scrolling on social media with studying though.

On the hobbies side, I'm watching the kdrama "When the phone rings" at the moment, I love it for now. And I will start "Newtopia" soon. Also, very disappointed from the bakery I usually go too, my croissant was not delicious enough.

I feel like biochemistry will be the death of me. Like it already is to the majority of people. 🫠 If anyone has tips about that, I'll glady take them.

Trying to understand the new maths lessons, surprisingly it's easier than I thought but it still looks so complex.

The other new lessons are okayish for now. Organizing your notes and revising the same day you have the class can be really fun and helpful to memorise easily for future exams.

Also, for some reason I have been so sleepy for the past few days even though I have a good amount of sleep at night. So I can't find the motivation/energy to do it everyday, but it's okay, my health and sleep is a priority. Our brain can't be as efficient without those anyway.

Last assignement of the semester DONE. I'm a bit excited to share my new studying life and tips for the new semester that is starting this monday. I'm also a bit stressed after seeing how long some classes are going to be.

Done with the biggest exams✅️

24 hours of studying in total since Thursday ✅️

It went pretty well, I have mistakes to learn from, about my studying methods. Now I have a lot of time to rest (after doing and sending that small assignement). I am a bit curious about the second semester, a whole new era. I hope it will be easy on me, my goal is to do better than this one, and start studying well from the beginning instead of just at the end. Also, I'm taking better care of my health now.

Done with 3 exams in total, the biggest ones are next week. I think I have time to get even more prepared since I started studying for them a little bit everyday during holydays and I was preparing real revisions. But I still feel a bit overwhelmed.

I revised a lot this afternoon, now it's time for self care by eating and watching good stuff.

Also I recommend Pomocat as an app if you like to do Pomodoro technique to study ! 🐱

The exams went well, not perfect. But I know I'll pass at least. I went to eat with some friends after the first exam, and tried Tiramissu for the first time. And one of my friend gave me those home-made cookies as a gift because she knew I never had Christmas cookies before. I was so happyyy. It was the first day after holidays that's why she gives them now. Here's my day 🩷 I'm proud of myself because I'm better at having social interactions now, I worked hard and it's paying.

I have two exams tomorrow, one of them being biophysics (ifykyk). I decided to study all day today, to wake up early and be focused. It's 7PM and I haven't started yet...😺.

I did wake up at 7AM, like planned, but I just read briefly for the second exam and got tired. So I scrolled on social media, watched stuff, had a nap. I'm not fully prepared, but at least I treated myself with food. A day break before exam has a lot of benefits anyway so it's okay. I also have some time tomorrow morning. I'll get to it right now without pressuring myself and I'll sleep peacefully because it's important.

Anyways, here's a reminder to not be too hard on yourself. If you didn't study like you planned to, procrastinated or simply couldn't understand it's okay, you're human. Don't make studying something that you punish yourself for after not doing it perfeclty like you wanted to. You can always do better next time! If you keep doing hard on yourself , you'll keep associating it with that and you'll feel drained, stress and pressured before even starting everytime. So please, make it FUN, remind yourself why you're doing this 🫶🏻

It was a difficult study day, I have two exams tuesday but none seems to be getting in my head, and I feel so tired when studying for them, physically repulsed. So I don't know how to go back to it slowly hehe.
