✨️ Downton Abbey III: The Grand Finale ✨️

A magnificent conclusion, after 15 years, 6 seasons, 52 episodes, and 3 films. Perhaps not the most accomplished, but still a coherent and magical ending, a little bittersweet. The staging and new dresses are sumptuous, once again ! It truly captures all the ingredients that make the series so charming: emotion, humor, and the social context as a backdrop. The final scene is very moving. A lovely reminder of the past while looking resolutely toward the future.
