and he's incredibly right, once you're old (listen, i'm only 40. but elderly people in my life have all, to a fucking one, told me something equivalent.), you'll wish you'd done more dumb happy shit. it's 2am and you wanna go play on the swingsets? i mean, listen, don't bring any illegal substances with you bc most parks with swings are closed at that hour and cops are killjoys, but. go fuckin do it. play in the rain. that moment when you're walking down the sidewalk and you feel such unbearable lightness you just wanna skip? skip! and fuck ANYONE who wants to harsh on that.
we have such a small amount of time on this earth to fuck around. so fuck around with impunity.
