Hello! Long time Lurker finally deciding to be active on here

My name is Sylvia, im 19 years old, and I love Cartoons

I am a Transgender Lesbian, She/Her, and I have a beautiful ButchFem wife

I also like Anime, though I rarely watch it. I've been a longtime fan of One Piece for about 8 years and I got back into JoJo 2 years ago

I am also a Diagnosed Autistic, I have ADHD, Type 1 Diabetes, and I need to walk with a Cane due to Muscular Dystrophy

I mostly like really old cartoons and old animated movies, anything from the 80s- the 2010s mostly, but I'll watch anything fun and colorful

My Main interests are: Woody Woodpecker(my long time Special Interest), A Clockwork Orange, MLP, anything by Disney(not really a fan of their recent stuff) and Don Bluth, and I'm currently in college for Forensic Science

I sometimes joke that I have 'DeviantArt Autism'. Its an Inside joke between Me and a few Friends bc I have the same Cartoon Interests as a 30 year old guy who posts weird Crossover stuff on DeviantArt. I dont mean to offend anyone, its simply a joke I use to poke fun at myself

I think I consider myself to be a Selfshipper? I selfship with King Magnifico from Wish 2023, Buzz Buzzard from Woody Woodpecker, Goofy Goof, and Rohan Kishibe

My Main F/O is Alex Delarge from A Clockwork Orange! I have been selfshipping with him for 6 years now!

Im not too keen on making Friends/long-term online Friendships, but i would like to make some Mutuals even though I am VERY awkward when talking to people

I would rather not be mutuals with TCC/Alfreds Playhouse/Proshippers/Radqueer/Transmed/Homophobic/Transphobic/Racist individuals

The Wizard of Oz, 1933

Even though it predates the iconic 1939 film by 6 years, they both have the same idea with beginning off in Black and White and adding Color once Dorothy and Toto arrive at Oz! Sadly, the Cowardly Lion doesn't make an appearance (possibly in favor of having Toto be more of a character) And the Wizard is a legit, Evil Wizard

I wonder if I can build all the way up through every Oz film ever, hm... my next post won't be Oz themed however

The Wizard of Oz, 1925

Another Strange Oz movie that is practically nothing like the book, this one mainly focuses on Larry Semon's character rather than Dorothy or the Wizard. This is also the first Feature Length Oz film!

In the Film, Dorothy is revealed to be the long lost Princess Dorothea. Larry Semons Character is in love with Dorothy, who is actually smitten with Oliver Hardy's character.

Ambassador Wikked from Oz comes to the Farm to kill Dorothy, only for a tornado to hit and it whisks them all to Oz, where the three Farmhands (Sermon, Hardy, and the only one with a proper name, Snowball) are accused of Kidnapping her. Wikked orders the Wizard to turn them into monkeys, which he is unable to do, but Sermon disguises himself as a Scarecrow, and Hardy improvizes a costume made from a scrap pile. They are given a trial, the 'tinman' accuses the 'scarecrow', and Sermon and Snowball are thrown in the dungeon by Prince Kynd.

The Wizard helps Scarecrow and Snowball out by giving Snowball a lion costume to scare the guards. Scarecrow escaped, but is led into a cage with a real lion, but He and Snowball end up escaping.

The Scarecrow is heartbroken to discover that Dorothy has fallen for Prince Kynd. He then flees up a tower from the Tin Man, who tries to blast him with a cannon. Snowball flies a plane overhead, and the Scarecrow manages to grab a rope ladder dangling underneath it. However, the ladder breaks and he falls.

Dorothy marries Prince Kynd and they live Happily Ever After!

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, 1910

The Earliest surviving Oz film (and the oddest), it was followed by 3 sequels, but those are unfortunately lost media, as are the original Fairylouge and Radioplays

This film was made without in input of Baum himself, and is based loosely off the 1902 stage play

It also includes of Imogene the Cow and Hank the Donkey (for some reason), and Dorothy meets the Scarecrow on the Farm rather than in Oz. At the end of the film, the Scarecrow becomes King of Emerald City and they throw a Celebration as the Wizard leaves in his Hot-air Balloon. Dorothy stays in Oz with her Friends

My Girlfriend and I have become fixated on The Wizard of Oz recently because of Wicked, so expect some more Oz gifs from me! Oz media is so wonderful and diverse, Next up will be the 1925 film and the 1933 cartoon.
