Updated pinned post! (will be updated more regularly for fandom/tag stuff)
System + tons of other mental and physical health issues, so we tend to vent a lot. Block the tag "#negative ibuprofen" if this bothers you (that's our chronic pain tag).
DNIs are useless, you know the drill, follow your own. We like the block button. Systems of all origins are welcome here. Don't hurt our friends. All Harry Potter fans will immediately be blocked. We don't care about your nostalgia, deal with it.

#canis major collective = anything system related or about all of us in general. basically a general tag for our bs
#canis yaps = answering asks, weird conversations, and fun things with our mutuals
#canis art = art tag. Most of our art is on our old version of this blog, which has been deleted. not sure if we'll find a way to restore it or if we'll repost it. maybe neither.
#negative ibuprofen = politely screaming about our chronic pain. sometimes a funny sarcastic rant, sometimes just. ough. pain. Block the tag if you don't want to hear us complain
#oc stuff = ....yeah you can guess
#oc: [name] = that specific OC!
#constellation island = Our Tomodachi Life island! we've made extensive lore about this, please read it..... posts collection here (link)!
#CI: [name] = same as the "oc: [name]" tag, but specifically for Constellation Island! The lore for characters is different on that island than their original OC lore, so we're seperating it for less confusion. It's basically an AU tag lol
I am cordially inviting all of you to post this in the comments/reblogs of any and every Al post you come across, on any platform. Especially useful for accounts who “teach” people how to use Al.
Chronic illness sucks because you’ll catch yourself thinking shit like ‘I wish it was possible to bathe regularly’ or ‘they should invent a digestive system that doesn’t hurt’ and then realise… that’s actually the case for most people. That’s the norm. Not only do most people have that, they don’t even think about it
June and July are the same months btw. They want you to think they're two different months but it's the same month that's 60 days long. Same way August is actually August and the first half of September
The proshot has done simply evil things to me, so of course I have to spend too much time on art. I went for a sorta Victorian-style cameo brooch vibe, which I hope comes through :)
Sometimes the best fic you’ve ever written isn’t on ao3. It’s in 50 frenetic discord messages sent over a fifteen minute span where you and your friend yes and each other into a perfect story that will never actually be written.
This is totally a thing! It's called a not!fic, and the conversational/informal format of storytelling was a staple of the early 2000s bandom era:
A similar vibe to the notfic, but for podfic fandom particularly, is the oral not!fic - a delightful experience of oral storytelling where you "yes, and" your way through a plot simply by talking it out loud:
And you can find a whole bunch on the AO3:
