The #DEA is ordering tons more #weed next year, marking a dramatic shift in the agency's treatment of #marijuana since restrictions loosened in 2016 then tightened again under Trump. This is a 452% increase over the 2017 order, and they said they intend to hold some in "reserve stock", implying long-term interest in cannabis. Meanwhile, #DOJ head Jeff Sessions is currently ignoring 25 applications for Federally-approved #cannabis farms that would drastically improve study of the plant, but nonetheless by every measure that fucking moron has failed to stymie its popularity, as #Canada and most of the United States legalize it further and further. In fact, Trump has already dangled the possibility of legalization in front of the populace, although IMO this is only to distract from escalating proof of his treason against the American people. Take what you can get, I suppose. Regardless, it's certain that federal legalization of cannabis will come to #America within 2-10 years max. We shouldn't let ourselves fall behind Spain, Georgia, and Uruguay on this, but there's no evidence we will despite some regression. Don't forget the microcosm perspective either; the fight at the national level mirrors the continued effort at the local level, as many cities have prohibited commercial cannabis in states that have otherwise legalized it. Only civilians can revert these bans, by organizing and repealing them with civil ordinances, and by removing from local office council members who oppose safe cannabis. Whether you prefer to make your voice heard at the local or national level, preferably both, please do and vote in support of legalized, regulated cannabis this November and beyond. There is no finish line victory on this matter, it's an effort that must persist until everyone naturally accepts that weed is less dangerous than tobacco and alcohol. Otherwise, you will see regression of progress like we've seen since 2017, that is only giving now that every poll shows beyond a reasonable doubt that Americans WANT WEED. 😁

You really need to memorize their 5 part script to improve the odds you will be protected in court if anyone questions you about your recreational or medical #marijuana. #Google announced a new Advanced Protection Program that may secure your data better than any current major cloud service (Apple, Microsoft). It adds the hassle of unlocking your accounts with a physical key like it's your front door, but also adds multiple layers of authentication that make it extremely difficult to steal access to APP-enabled accounts. The most important part to me is that the APP forces you to use Google's network and apps to access Google data; that means Google is checking if things look right at multiple levels. Do you have the password AND the security key? Does the Chrome browser think things look right? Does Android think they look right on mobile? Do Google's authentication servers think everything looks right? No one gets access unless everything checks out multiple times. Most people don't need the GAPP. It's a better use of your time to just learn what not to click on, and to update your OS. But the reality of the world is that people are out there trying to steal account data, and those who try hard, usually succeed. But with APP, even if they get your key, or your password, or spoof (fake) your connection to a Google service, none of those things are good enough by themselves. You have to really drop the ball, or be up against a state actor, to fail this at every level. Obviously this demands substantial trust in Google, when these days you shouldn't trust anyone. But Google has proven for years now that they're at least trying harder than everyone else, and no one currently offers a service like this that is broad enough to actually be relevant. IMO the #GAPP is a one of a kind promise of security, in a day when it is very relevant, if you're willing to accept the terms of trusting Google with the valuable data you intend to protect. My final note: Google has a reputation for denying warrants that seem illegitimate. If you're not doing anything wrong, your data is PERHAPS more secure for that reason too. But a successful warrant can't be stopped, GAPP or not, Google or else. Regardless, never completely trust anyone or anything in #tech #security. But the GAPP may be a useful option for you. #android

Great news for everyone but brutal news for me: @bureauofcannabiscontrol released new non-emergency #cannabis regulations for #California... on the same weekend I was gonna release the #AmberCompassionProgram. Now I have to review 3 different sets of #legalese and adjust the #ACP as necessary. Best part? I'm running out of time. I'm going back to the mountain top by the 23rd. Intense pressure to make this useful in light of so many changes. Did you know commercial #marijuana deliveries can deliver to prohibited cities and counties now? That's fantastic news, but also it's fantastic editing work to adjust the #ACP in respect to that fantastic news. Also, retailers need to use "child-resistant" exit packaging; that's fucking annoying and excessive. Picture me at a typewriter, chka-chka-chka-chka kerCHUNK zwip TWING! I'm high like Hunter S Thompson but look like after he pulled the trigger. My editor bangs on the door, "GODDAMMIT WHERE IS IT!" More of an order somehow. I throw my stapler at an empty water cooler, "You'll get it when it's good and goddamn ready, goddammit, now pass the ether SNNNFFFT." My editor and I fade together into that black abyss behind your mind where you hide your deepest concerns and just before we flicker out I suddenly snort, wide-eyed and catapulting a smoldering roach off my lip: "Wasn't I doing something?" It's almost done. It's just a #cheatsheet, upon which I will simply build corporations, and they will only serve as facilities to further develop and share the information and practices in the cheatsheet. It won't be free at first because I need (not want) income, but it will be extremely cheap for all the information it offers and most importantly it should save you much more money than it costs. Much of the information will be be distributed for free on CannaMediae.org over time, and when I am able, the entire cheatsheet will be made entirely free to the public while content on the website continues to develop around that. I intend to make my income from commercial cannabis business development, not from the #C4cheatsheet. Yes, I will be saying "Boom" a lot now. #Boom. It's gotten to the point where I can take my perspective on this project and place it nearly anywhere I want and still see the rhythms and patterns I'm looking for. It's coming together. Nothing will prove anything until real-world implementation, and that road is as long and steep as one can be, but I'm almost ready to go, and most importantly I think finally I have something to offer those who might come with me. If you don't have your commercial cannabis license, form a collective and follow the Attorney General's Guidelines IMMEDIATELY. That means getting a business license and paying sales tax to the Board of Equalization, keeping member and finance records, and only dealing with cardholders or those who you're willing to go to court about. FEDERAL ENFORCEMENT IS COMING, THIS YEAR. IF YOU'RE MAKING MONEY, THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE IS COMING TO TAKE IT, AND YES, THEY KNOW ABOUT YOU. Even licensed operators aren't safe, but they're safer than the rest of us. The State v Fed battle over cannabis is coming, and this is what's going to initiate it. The news and activity from the DOJ is clear: Sessions is GOING TO DO SOMETHING, SOON. Simultaneously, the state (#CA) has money for enforcement, while the Fed wants your money to make up for increasingly intense fiscal deficits caused by terrible policy. Get your shit in line. This is also part of how I will create a network of others who can do the same. Mind you that probably means you have to give a veteran at least one share in your corporation (thus part owner) and give them a reasonable role in your operation, but... gee, sorry? 🤗 Find someone you can trust, which isn't as hard with soldiers.
