Recently I’ve been revisiting old oc’s of mine, and I remembered my old A:TLA self-insert who was an airbender who could also earthbend. So then I created my own past avatar and her team! Their story focuses a lot on exploration and found family, since the world isn’t in the middle of a huge war.

Here’s some info about the team! I’ll probably post more later.

Jiaying

Raised at the Western Air temple, received her tattoos at age 15.

Her mother was from the Fire Nation and left her with the Air Nomads, Jiaying wants to meet her.

Pretty naive, but still excited to travel the world.

Lien

From the Foggy Swamp, uses plantbending to create and operate a prosthetic leg made from vines.

Likes to go with the flow, but can jump into action when needed.

Phueng

Retired Ember Island dancer, knew Jiaying’s mother.

Is the first one Jiaying recruits, but refuses to teach Jiaying firebending until she’s ready.

Tired and grumpy lady

Tooj

Brother of Cua. A very experimental earthbender who thinks outside of the box.

Used his earthbending for basic labor in Ba Sing Se, thinks he’s wasting his potential.

Cua

Sister of Tooj. A nonbender, she relies on weapons and tools.

From the outer ring of Ba Sing Se, where she and her brother worked on the transport systems.

Hey guys, my buddy has been missing for day now and I’m kinda worried. Counselor Amy said she’d be my buddy for now but, like, I’m kinda worried he’s dead and the counselors didn’t want to say anything??? Is this crazy?????
