“When wasn’t the first time I drank?”
@sixheartsaflame
when princess carolyn and lenny were manipulating all the assistants into signing contracts to end the strike and stuart asked “if i sign this, does that mean i get a promotion, too?” and lenny responded “sure, stuart. someday” but then princess carolyn had a flashback to when marv said the exact same thing to her and remembered how dehumanizing it felt so she immediately jumped in before he could sign and not only drew up a more fair one but called judah???????????
First episode of season 6: Bojack Horseman was a victim of his parents' neglect and irresponsible alcohol-use. The first time Bojack ever drank, he was drinking out of a bottle his parents left lying around. He is a sympathetic figure, and his parents failed him.
Later episode of season 6: Sarah Lynn was a victim of Bojack's neglect and irresponsible alcohol-use. The first time Sarah Lynn ever drank, she was drinking out of a bottle her TV-father left lying around. She is a sympathetic figure, and Bojack Horseman failed her.
I just... the way the show portrays young Bojack as sympathetic and old Bojack as reprehensible... It's so well executed. We can feel bad for what Bojack's parents put him through and also hate him for what he put Sarah Lynn through.

Rachel Bloom presents Best Actor in a Comedy Series at the 22nd Annual Critics’ Choice Awards on December 11, 2016.
Ok I need to keep talking about this because I still can’t believe it happened. I absolutely love the way Valencia got a girlfriend. There was no dramatic coming out seen, no tear-jerking moment of self realization, or even a comical one like Darryl’s. This is so important because it made it completely normal. Nobody questioned it, or even commented on it. This could even imply that she had been openly bi since the beginning and it wasn’t explicitly addressed (think about it - when Rebecca kissed her in s1, she just seemed frustrated that ‘everyone wants to sleep with her’, there was no ‘ew wtf I’m straight’ comment).
The show introduced it with the same casual treatment they gave Heather and Hector. That was it. Crazy Ex-Girlfriend has always come through for me, and this is some of the most sincere LGBT representation I’ve ever seen.
