So D&D black dragons are supposed to live in swamps, right? Pretty amphibious, live in swamps, lair in...

caves. With a main entrance and a back entrance.

In swamps.

I really have trouble with the idea that there's these dragon-sized caves in an area with such a high water table, y'know? We have to go through miles of swamp to reach this lair, it's not one little boggy place in a mountain valley otherwise filled with nice caves. And the cave has to have two entrances, too? I can believe in dragons, but not this geology.

So... maybe it's not geology. Because a lair in a marshy place with exacting design specifications sounds a lot like a totally natural thing --

A beaver lodge.

So now I have this new image of black dragons industriously gnawing down giant trees to construct their mighty swamp lairs, and I am so much happier.

ONI GODZILLA vs FALSE GOD GHIDORAH Finally! I've been working on this for months and now i managed to get it finished I hope y'all like it! This 'False God' King Ghidorah is meant to look like an immortal graceful Phoenix soaring the skies but up close you can see their true nature, full of fangs and ill intent Always coming back from the ashes to fight Godzilla once again Originally it was named Oni Ghidorah But I don't feel like that name fits at all, curved big tusks is not enough, and since i've been meaning to make a phoenix ghidorah I took this chance It's a very flamboyant design, with war-banner like wings, bird and snake features alike Oni Godzilla got some new changes, still the same base design from years back, but this time i added some wilderness to it, to really put the Oni in him His tail is a mace, and is now rocking some type of gold animal print on the arms
