For context: I work in a department store, and I’m a type 1 diabetic. I kept a few hard candies (those strawberry ones) for if my sugar started to drift low. I got an idea to offer it to people in not only my department but in other departments, so I started carrying around a sandwich bag of hard candies (caramels, strawberries, Jolly Ranchers, coffee candies) to offer to people. Now, a month later, I’m getting a creeping feeling that I’m being weird.

Update:

The candy has become a great ice breaker. I work the self checkouts and the manned registers, and the candy has become a great way to meet the other associates.

The sandwich bag was upgraded to a zipper pouch a bit bigger than a pencil case that I can keep in my work vest. The pouch now has 3 kinds of hard caramels (green apple, classic caramel, and coffee), 2 kinds of sugar free jolly ranchers (classic and tropical), butterscotch, strawberries, Korean melon, and guava candies.

For context: In the dream, the Vees kidnapped the Straw Hat Pirates, and it was up to Bartolomeo and I (no powers or anything) to free them. Instead of fighting them as a collective, Bartolomeo fought them one by one, starting with Valentino.

Last night, I had a dream that a little, calico kitten the size of a burrito snuck into my house (I live out in the country btw). My dogs adopted him immediately. I gave him a bath and made him into a loose purrito to dry off. I sat down to answer a text with him (still wrapped) against my shoulder. When I went to stand, the kitten wriggled out of the towel, and I said, “My burrito is missing its filling.”
