okay so here are my two cents as of why I, a trans person, think that She™ is about the trans experience. As similar to what Lina @sleepwalk-living said in their post, I think that the song is about having another version of yourself always in your head and feeling like if you become or are perceived as that person you will be able to heal. Also, the whole concept of wanting to run away without telling anyone so you can be able to change without people's awareness of that ? That is literally The Trans Experience.

I think it tells a lot when trans fans, like myself, say that the song is about our experiences as trans people and then you see all these cis fans coming for us and telling us that we're pushing our "trans agenda" on Harry.

This might just be my opinion but I think that cis people telling us that it's transphobic like, the song was written by Harry yes, and he might relate to it of course, but me saying that the song is about the trans experience is not about him lmao. This is about trans fans seeing/hearing in a song the thoughts and feelings we have in our day to day lives.

So for cis fans to say that what we see in that song is not real, that's pretty much you telling me that my trans experience is not true. It is very upsetting.

sometimes i forget that some people think She by Harry Styles was written about a woman he loves but isnt able to be with instead of it being written as like... an allegory for not knowing who you are or desperately wanting to be known as someone else, and the result being an overwhelming feeling of being lost. theres some ethereal, absent version of you floating around that you cant stop thinking about, but it haunts you because you think you might begin to heal if you could just grant yourself the power to become.

at what time do you normally go to bed? lol there is no normal right now. I try to go to bed before 2am. 

at what time do you normally get up? when I'm working I used to get up at 8am but now I'm lucky if I'm up by 11am. I was awake at 9am today though.

how many blankets are on your bed? one. I have a weighted blanket so I could possibly have another or I would be way too hot. 

describe your kitchen plates. we have like four sets of kitchen plates. one of them is plain white with a blue line around it, another set has like planty things around the edges, another is blue and heavy ceramic, and the last one is various shades of brown, not quite round and has lines on it. 

do you have a favorite alcoholic beverage? I do not drink. 

do you play cards? not very often. I wish I did more but I usually don’t have anyone to play with. 

what color is your car? I don’t have a car anymore :(

what is your favorite state/province? I guess Michigan? I've never lived anywhere else but I want to eventually.

HELP WITH MEDICAL BILLS

In March of 2019 on the way to visit my Mom for Spring Break, I was in a car accident that ending up totaling my car. 

Additionally, I had severe neck pain so I went to the emergency room to make sure I hadn’t damaged anything major. 

Luckily I only had severe whiplash. At the time I did not receive any bill, but knew that my auto insurance was going to be billed for the visit. Later, in Early December I got a $500 bill in the mail. Apparently my auto insurance covered all of the expenses except for $500. 

This bill was unexpected and has become an extreme financial burden, especially at this time of year. My utility bills have been higher due to cold weather, and I am missing out on pay from work because we are closed for a week for the holidays during which I won’t get paid. The bill is due on January 4th, so I have to make some kind of payment by then. I am a recent college grad working in food service and I already have a significant amount of debt from college, transitioning (I’m trans) and as a result of being poor my whole life. I hate asking for help, but I don’t really know what else to do, because I feel like debt is suffocating me.
