trying to work out who would be the weak link at the fellowship garden barbecue. obviously not sam, frodo doesn't really cook but does bring a huge amount of expensive cheese and wine from bilbo's cellar so he's out. merry and pippin exceed expectations which are admittedly low. boromir and gimli bring insane quantities of meat and spend the whole time at the grill cooking it and flexing, which is befitting of these kind of things. might be legolas but i think he would bring a lot of mushrooms, herb marinades, salads etc which is a good balance which unfortunately leaves mr six pack and trail jerky aragorn son of arathorn. this is so different from what i normally post but i have nobody to talk to about it so 💔 if you told me two years ago that i was hopping on the taylor swift hate train, i would call you fucking insane and laugh in your face. but now i can safely and strongly say that i don’t support her anymore. i used to look up to taylor swift a lot as an artist and a songwriter (genuinely like from when i was 4 - 13) but ever since her silence when the white house used her music it's just so gross. i have so much merch from the eras tour and i have an official cardigan and a WHOLE BUNCH of CD's and records from when i was younger. now like i just look around my room and i feel disgusted. her music used to be the only thing that held me together and the fact that she is and maybe has always been only a brand / business just really breaks my heart. this might sound stupid to people who never liked her in the first place but i did. i really loved her music and i loved that she spoke up for what she believed in (or so i thought) but clearly she isn't who i thought she was. she was my whole inspiration. her music was the one who put me in the right headspace to start writing or to comfort me when i was sad, but maybe it was all just fake. it just upsets me deeply and i had to say all that ☹️

Sorry for the departure from my usual stuff and blowing up your feeds with anti-Taylor Swift stuff recently. It just pisses me off how people think she's the exception to the "there are no ethical billionaires" mantra they keep spewing.

And her deranged fans are somehow ok with it. Even keep making excuses for her and moving the goal post instead of accepting that she's a shit person who's done and continues to do real harm.

Or "you are the company you keep"?
