It’s the start of October. Brown leaves are falling from trees, and the lingering chill in the air promises a heartless winter. The year is 2010–picture the release of the iPad, or the radio playing California Girls on repeat—with the rise of social media culture surrounding twitter and facebook.
You’re a struggling artist living in New York City, trying to either make it big or simply just get by. You live in an apartment complex on a decent side of the city. Here you meet a strange variety of people that you end up calling your friends. The group is diverse, with a wide range of professions, each of them having their own dark sides. You, along with all of your friends, do whatever you can to climb the ranks.
But what happens when the cost of fame is a price that most aren’t willing to pay? How far are you willing to go for a chance at the top?

Are you hooked? You’re hooked, right? Now that you’ve read the storyline we have in place, I’m sure you’re just itching to join in all the fun. But wait, there’s more. Here are various things in our servers that seek out to enhance the immersive feel of the roleplay !
What we have to offer you:
- Personal channels that everyone can view, used to display your original character in your own fashion!
- Daily interactive questions, that are answered in character, to give people a feel for your oc !
- A hardworking team of staff members ready to answer any questions you may have !
- A small, yet eager, group of people passionate about rping and willing to start drama (in roleplay, of course) !
Now I’m sure you’re just thrilled to join us, but before we get to that part, there’s some things that we’ll need from you before we can invite you to be apart of this story.
What we want from you:
- A literate or higher writing style. We don’t need messages on top of messages, but this is also not the place for one liners! Be ready to meet that nice middle ground. You’ll also be asked for an rp example before you’re granted access to the server, so please be ready to provide that.
- Be, at minimum, 18 years old. This roleplay will deal with very heavy topics, so the age restriction is to ensure we have individuals mature enough to deal with them.
- Original characters only. And they must be well thought out with flaws. Don’t be afraid to get a little ugly with them. The more drama, the better !
- Your character’s desired profession. We’re trying to have a good variety, so think of something unique! And if you do think of a career similar to someone else’s, think what makes your oc really stand out and bring something to the table.
- The general timezone for the rp is CST / EST. Please have a timezone close to one of those, because if you don’t, it’ll be difficult to be active during the most optimal times.
- Be willing to get invested in the plot! Dont be shy and stand in the back while people plant events and certain plot points, put your oc out there so they can get interaction !
- Be willing to talk ooc. The server we’ve designed has plenty opportunities to talk about your oc, or even anything outside of the rp, so discuss with others so we all can have a good time !
