Since the ceasefire was declared, many people think things in Gaza are “over.”
But the truth is nothing has materially changed for us.
There is still destruction everywhere.
Food is still scarce.
Clothes are still a need, not a luxury.
Because of the ceasefire, donations have slowed, but our suffering has not ended 💔
My husband is still wounded and unable to work, and I am doing everything I can to keep my children safe, fed, and warm. We still urgently need money for food, clothing, and daily survival.
More than anything, I hope to leave Gaza as soon as possible so my children can have a future, but leaving requires resources we simply do not have yet.

Where did that go?
we do have to contend with the fact that the reason there is this like perpetual conflation funnel that turns aave and other black dialects into 'gen z slang' and memes and the reason non black performers keep putting on blaccents and the reason pictures of black people just existing gets turned into memes is the same and its because its all minstrelsy.
i was like 'it's weird the way everyone is doing free pr for the catholic church rn just bc the pr for the new pope has already been that good' and someone was like 'wait? why don't you like the pope? did something happen?' i feel insane i'm not exaggerating i didn't even know what to say?? 'did something happen?' yes the last 2 thousand years of global history, and no, going back 2,000 years in catholic history is not dramatic because it's remained consistently that bad throughout and in fact i do think the church should answer for every single century of its sins while all of its assets are returned to the people from which they were stolen and its global power is dissolved.

Cross sea is an unusual, rare but nevertheless very dangerous wave pattern. It occurs when waves from different directions meet (cross) each other. The overlapping of these wave systems creates a chessboard-like pattern, which on the one hand has an enormous suction and the waves, created by the overlapping, can suddenly become 10 metres and more. This pattern is able to drown swimmers in shallow coastal areas and sink ships in deeper areas.
