So this is probably weird, idk. I've recently bought 3 pair of black yoga pants and since they're so tight I don't wear underwear with them it's more comfy and flattering that way. Anyway, I usually only wear white cotton undies but on all 3 pair of the black leggings there is, what looks like, a bleach stain where my discharge would be. Is this normal? Is my discharge bleaching out the color? And does that mean I have an infection? Thanks...

Nope!  The only symptoms of infection are:

discharge with bad smell

discharge of a different color/consistency

itching

burning

pain with sex/penetration of any type

But you did hit on something that we never really talk about that is another fun vagina fact that I adore:

Vaginal discharge is super acidic!!  So if you haven’t gone over acids and bases in science class yet, here’s a very quick rundown:

Think of acid as one end of the scale and base as the other.  So if you think of lemon juice as super acidic, milk might be the drink you think of as its’ opposite.  Milk isn’t even that basic, though - the more basic you get the fluid can get just as dangerous as acids.

See over there at the most basic you have drain cleaner and ammonia?  You would not want to drink that.

So while human blood is at 7.4, very close to water (neutral), health vagina discharge is between 3.5 and 4.5, which is MUCH more acidic.

Sometimes vaginal discharge will even eat through your undies!  It’s great that it’s so acidic cause it protects you from infection.  Next time you’re slightly distressed cause you’ve ruined yet another pair of panties, just feel satisfied that you have awesome acidic vaginal discharge that protects you!  You’re a super hero!!
