It’s my 21st birthday tomorrow and I can’t be with my family and all my friends are away and I’m sad and lonely, but honestly, this was just the sweetest thing ever and I just wanted to say thank you so much for this gorgeous drawing and thank you to everyone in this fandom for just being so lovely. I know I’m not alone with you guys.  I love you. x
Peter hears tired, heavy footsteps outside and he lingers in the comforting shadows of the hallway a moment longer.
He’s scared in this big mansion all by himself. The marble seems to creak and groan and the glamour goes away when Tony’s not here. The luxury and excess seems hollow and eerie without Tony to give it class and place. He peeks out into the dark foyer, but sees nothing but grey silhouettes and settled quiet.
Like the rubber sole of a boot against the floor.
He steps out: trembling. He feels too vulnerable in his thigh-high socks and oversized sweater. It slips down over his shoulders and he twists his fingers into the sleeves, teeth caught in his bottom lip as he tries to see past the darkness to no avail. He squints harder.
“Tony?” He whispers hopefully.
Another squeak, and out of the night-
Tony’s spotted here and there with specks of blood- it’s not his own-, as he steps forward into the silver light of a moonbeam. Peter leaps forward with relief, and Tony’s big strong arms wrap around him and he feels safe and the mansion is a gorgeous home once more. The fear and scary thoughts evaporate.
“I was scared,” he sniffles, and he feels Tony chuckle. Those possessive hands are tight on his waist, toying with the hem of his sweater and over the swell of his ass. He pulls back a little, looking up at the fierce, handsome billionare and he mops up a little of the blood on Tony’s cheek with his sleeve. “Where’d you go?” He murmurs, stroking his fingers through Tony’s beard.Â
Tony’s look is dark. Darker than the shadows and the night. “Daddy had business to sort out, baby. But he’s here now,” one hand leaves Peter’s waist, tracing fondly over the delicate, expensive collar around his pale neck, to brush through his hair. It sends little tingles down his scalp and he arches into the touch like a cat. Tony’s gaze is hungry. “No need to be scared anymore.”
Peter nods, burying his face into Tony’s neck and breathing him in. “Was it that man from the gala?” He asks quietly, remembering the hungry look of a business partner in a black suit. Eyes that lingered on Peter just a touch too long.
Tony’s grip becomes fractionally tighter, and Peter doesn’t need an answer.
He kisses Tony’s bloodied jaw sweetly, and wraps his arms around his neck. “Can we go to bed, daddy?” He whispers.
Tony lifts Peter into his arms, bridal style, a smudge of blood trickling down his forehead, and there’s a proud look in his dark eyes. “Of course, baby. Wouldn’t want any monsters around here, would we?”
