I DON’T WANT WHAT YOU HAD.
I WANNA BE YOU.
Is this like anything, I kinda like it when soundwave turns into a kinda nothing brick
where r the soundwave fans pspsppsp
In honors of Skybound Soundwave being the diva ever I drew him hitting more poses because I think that’s what he needs in life… with the Skybound style!! Idk what kinda bills he had to pay to be doing all that but I support it and I think he should do it ten million more times
This is a Transformers blog now. I'm sorry.
So. Mecha pilot Jazz? Anyone?
Based on this post
I decided I don’t want to pull any aesthetic from Evangelion because I don’t really remember Evangelion haha I can’t navigate its world building.

If transformers G1 took place in the 2020s the autobots could do a video like 'showing the aerialbots things they've never seen before' and it would be stuff like 'the ocean' 'forest' 'human TV'
Ppl in the comments would be like 'how have they never seen any of this before' and Jazz (runs the Autobot tiktok) would be like well they're new and ppl would be like 'ohh they just got here from Cybertron??' and he'd be like well yeah that too but no I mean they were just imbued with life and free will by vector sigma last week '........ Say WHAT'
They show the Aerialbots the infinite chocolate post and after about twenty minutes of debating it one of em is like 'so what's chocolate?'
Jazz posts a video of the Aerialbots gathered around Teletraan's screen like 'they've been staring at it for almost an hour'. This is on the screen
AU where Skyfire thaws from a glacier at the South Pole and hangs out at an Antarctic research station
Skyfire/jetfire compilation, I love him forever
I haven't used tumblr in months, but my friend finally roped me into Transformers and I have to admit. I like what I'm seeing. I understand the vision now.
Thinking about how Han Solo is apparently a regular visitor to Tatooine and Different First Meeting AUs... if Han Solo had fucked up and gotten into horrible debt earlier, maybe Jabba might've forced him to become a podracer or something. He IS a hell of a pilot. (He's maybe even a little Force sensitive about it!) Humans don't tend to have the reflexes for podracing, but that's fine, because the crowd likes a good deadly explosion every now and again.
The funniest stupid thing that could happen here is some podracer promoter looking at Han Solo and going, "If that's fake, that's a stupid ass name. If that's real, that's stupid ass name; never use your real name. We've got to get you a gimmick, kid. We've got to make up a persona. We're gonna sell a storyline, so you can do better for yourself than just helping Jabba fix the races to get the most of the sports betting money."
(Download the new Duel of the Fans app for live betting on wins and crashes today!!!)
"There's only been one human podracer of any note here, some really tiny kid about 30 years ago, and people still talk about it. So we're gonna say you're him all grown up and coming home. We're gonna build on something here. No, I don't know how humans age and I don't care. You'll be wearing a helmet most of the time, and then we'll just say you look good for your age. Humans are ugly, who can tell? Kid, we're going to make you a STAR."
And fine, whatever, it works to start out with. Han is mainly focused on not dying, both on the racetracks and at Jabba's terrible, non-stop parties he's forced to attend sometimes. (Boba Fett SUCKS; Han would shove that guy into the sarlacc pit if he could get away with it.) He's GOT to find a way to get himself and Chewie off of this awful sand planet...
And then this belligerent teenage farmkid shows up like, "I heard about your podraces on the radio! Are you my DAD?!?!" And also two Star Destroyers are suddenly looming overhead, full of Imperial Security Bureau agents AND Imperial Inquisitors, demanding to know how Jedi General Anakin Skywalker is alive and why he's making dramatic villainous speeches kayfabe-style about how he's going win the Mos Espa Belt for humans everywhere on the Coruscanti Galactic Sports Network's Outer Rim Podracing channel.
In the big Star Wars AU I have with friends, we were initially planning to feature Commander Fox as a prominent character in the Guard (for the story), specifically because of how little we know about him and what we did get usually featured him making plausible decisions that would later turn out to be mistakes with severe consequences.
It could be a very fun thing to expand on this concept—exploring a character who is simply doing their job and really believes to do right, but is set up to fail by the narrative and often (unknowingly) ends up in the wrong. Also wouldn't make it too hard writing someone who has mainly served as a narrative tool, rather than an actual character throughout most of their screentime.
However, the way current popular fanon has latched on to and completely painted over this character (and the Coruscant Guard as a whole...), is so far removed from both actual canon and what I would write, that at this point I'm seriously debating just making up a random clone instead.
tfw "popular" fanon becomes so embedded in a fandom & discussions within fandom spaces that people just start treating it as the default and all interactions with others are coloured by this interpretation. have you considered that I actually don't subscribe to this take, which is nowhere in the source material? wait nvm, clearly not.
I'm never muting this post I love learning about fandom beef I'd never ever considered before
Nobody can agree on how Star Wars characters should be written, not even official writers, which is why we're reintroduced to the same character concept but slightly to the left like every other year.
leia organa truly has one of the best bait-and-switch character introductions of all time because when you meet her she's this brave, stoic picture of elegance and justice and always knows just what to say to vader and tarkin and is clad in white like an angel and is this perfect two-dimensional archetype of pureness of heart. and then approximately half an hour later into the film she meets luke and han and she IMMEDIATELY shows her true colors as a sarcastic, bitchy control freak with a massive impulsive streak and a deep mine of hyperspecific insults. 10/10 character design i'm obsessed with her
